12.01.2022 No mud. No leaves. No mess. No trees. This forest is practically perfect We do love a bit of Book Week, including the up-til-late dress up construction! Even our Director Simon has a few in storage from past teaching days (Lorax & Max from Where The Wild Things Are were a couple of favourites) It’s got us thinking of our favourite books... this one pictured - TIDY by Emily Gravett - has got to be up there! As is WILD by Emily Hughes...... We’d love to know your favourites! Bonus points for an environmental message

11.01.2022 What.A.Year! We’d love to thank all of the children, families, educators, supporters, contractors, and suppliers we have worked with this year for your support and understanding in what has been a super crazy year... We’d especially like to send a huge shout out to this crew (plus a few who are missing) who have tackled all the challenges this year has thrown them and still managed to create some amazing spaces for children and families to enjoy. The Climbing Tree team have taken a much deserved break and will be back from 11th January 2021. We hope wherever you are that you manage to find some time and space to PLAY, in whatever capacity that may be. Go Wild

08.01.2022 A little excitement for the children at Unley Kindy today as their new custom chicken house arrived from the sky! Shout out to our creative team utilising 100% local sustainable materials to create a sweet little haven for some kindy hens

05.01.2022 Another stunning rural site, another timber creature... can you guess what the team are creating this time?

04.01.2022 Basking in the sun, surrounded by shady plane trees sits a newly built Gecko! It has been great working with the students and wider school community on this project at Hawthorndene Primary School. Embracing the school Gecko emblem with play features similar to our much loved Ilya Wardli at Mukanthi Nature Playground, this play structure looks right at home. The perfect addition to support and nurture children’s development through play and nature connection, a huge thanks to Hawthorndene Primary School for the opportunity! As always a huge shout out to our amazing, creative team who are always up for a challenge and know exactly how to bring an idea to life

01.01.2022 Another sweet little country project complete! This time a climbable centipede and a natural swing frame sit at the base of a natural rock formation, under the shade of some BIG gums along the Pekina Creek edge. The walk along the creek is stunning and not too far from here are Ngadjuri Aboriginal carvings said to be over 7,000 years old.

01.01.2022 Spotted on our travels... a relic from the good old days!
