The Queensland Council for LGBTI Health (formerly the Queensland AIDS Council) provides psychological and case management services for the LGBTIQ+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy communities. Our Talking Heals campaign has been developed in response to increased rates of suicide and self-harm among LGBTIQ+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy folk. 17.01.2022 COUNSELLING SESSIONS AVAILABLE Are you having a difficult time at the moment? At QC we understand that these times are particularly challenging for many folks.... Issues or problems can often get in the way of our day to day lives. A trained counsellor can provide a safe space for you to talk, feel understood and work with you in the process of unfolding the issues you face in your life. This can be a path to change and growth. Anthony is now providing counselling services (around issues such as anxiety, communication, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, identity or sexuality) as part of the QC Mental Health team. These sessions are available to all LGBTIQ+, Sistergirl and Brotherboy people aged 18 years or over and residing in the Brisbane North region, as part of the Metro North Bmind program. You can request the number of licences t...hat would be most useful in the Expression of Interest survey below and we will be in contact to discuss what number we could provide.
