22.01.2022 CASTING CALL Hey everyone! I'm shooting a short teaser film next month based on local writer Mandy Magro's novel 'Rosalee Station'. The video will be used by a ...Canadian producer to start the process in adapting Magro's novels into a TV series. It's a 60sec teaser and will only take a day to shoot. I'm after 1 female lead actress and 2 male farmer actors: -Strong country young mum in mid twenties with a broken heart. Curly hair, kind face, inner strength. The shoot is looking for an actor to play a vivacious, strong and kind country farm girl who has suffered a traumatic loss. -Two male mid 20s to play skinny but strong strong farm workers. Interesting look is more important than handsome. Aim to have one rehearsal/read through/walk through prior to shoot. Shoot date late February (either half or full day), it is a paid shoot (approx $500pp) Let me know if you're interested or know of anyone who would suit the roles?

09.01.2022 CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: Douglas Theatre Arts Group, Inc / the Clink Theatre is planning to offer a School Holiday Program this September. ***If you have young performers who are interested in participating, please read the information below and email [email protected] with the information requested below.***... Program Dates/Times (to be confirmed): Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 22-24 September and 29 September 1 October (based on responses to the registration form, these dates could be adjusted) Program Activities: The aim is to revisit scenes from previous Clink productions including Annie, Grease, Sound of Music, Oliver, Cinderella Kids, Into the Woods Jnr, Wizard of Oz YPQ, Matilda, and more. Anyone who wishes to participate is encouraged to do so. There will be opportunities to learn more about back-stage, lighting and sound and costuming as well as singing, acting and dancing. Performances: We may have a live performance and are planning to record the performances and share them digitally, similarly to how Cram It Online was recently released. (Date of recording to be determined.) Cost: A fee of $50 per child will be charged for this camp to help offset the costs of the theatre.
