25.01.2022 VETERANS HEALTH WEEK This is Max. Max served in the Australian Army - Royal Australian Service Corp. he completed a massive 40 years of service from the age of 17 through to 57years of age, most of those years with the SAS. He had approx 17 Deployments to many different countries, so many in fact he has lost track. Max has some bloody awesome tales to tell. ... To keep healthy Max attends regular sessions with us at On The Move and reckons a cap full of OP rum keep him young!! Thank you for your service and Happy veterans health week Max.



25.01.2022 MEET THE TEAM This is Casey. Casey is a Narromine girl and still frequents the town. She Takes on quite a few roles at OTM, You will find her on the floor assisting the EPs, at Buninyong Public school assisting the EP program, at the front desk completing Admin tasks. If you dont get paid, blame Case! ... Casey pretty much will do anything for anyone and never complains! She is a bloody champion and has a great rapport with everyone who enters the centre. Fun facts: Casey has a Journalism degree. She has a female dog called Kevin and she cant wait for Ryan to be the Designated Driver.

24.01.2022 In light of all things COVID-19 On the move rehab is NOT a gym. We will remain open for business as we provide one on one rehabilitation sessions. We will be reducing the size of our group rehab sessions after 12pm tomorrow. This will be announced to our participants tomorrow morning.... We ask all individuals who enter our premises to observe the social distancing advice set by the government and ensure strict hand hygiene. Remember if you are feeling unwell or experiencing any flu like symptoms contact us to cancel and reschedule your appointment. We will be able to provide virtual treatment options through video link if required. Thank you for your ongoing support

23.01.2022 MEET THE TEAM This is Bec O. Bec is the newest addition to our expanding team. She is an Allied Health Assistant and is super keen to be involved in all aspects of the centre. She has developed a great rapport with our participants already and is learning the ropes with our EP programs. Bec hails from Gilgandra, moved to Dubbo and had built a small tribe with 4 kids on the loose ages 10, 8, 4 and 2. Her and her hubby Ben have recently purchased a TV so the breeding may slow... up a little. You will see Bec at the centre on a Monday and Tuesday, on the floor and at front of house. FUN FACT: Bec once left her keys locked in her car, when she returned her car was then stolen! Bec also doesnt like cooking?? Welcome to the team Bec

23.01.2022 MEET THE TEAM This is Jake. Jake hails from Condo, but dont be fooled by his humble beginnings. After completing his schooling he moved onto a sea change in Newcastle where he completed his Bachelor studies. Here he worked as an exercise scientist and discovered the world of insurance. Jake completed his Masters course to attain the final requirements to be an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. He even completed his final prac placement with Nic in 2018. He moved onto Wollo...ngong and then to Wagga. Jake works for us Monday to Thursday and is just taking on the role as our Telehealth/video conference guru to ensure our participants can get their sessions in each week to continue to make gains in their Rehab. Jake has a great personality and is an awesome member of our team. Fun facts: - Jake is soon to be a dad, what exciting times ahead for him and Hayley. - Jake said he was getting a haircut and he says it wont just be a trim... watch this space!



23.01.2022 MEET THE TEAM This is Ryan. Ryan is one of our Directors, he is our logistics man, he does all our diary schedules. On top of that Ryan is the brains of our NDIS Home Mods registration. Basically Ryan coordinates all the day to day logistics and gets your home mods sorted. ... Ryan is the main reason why OTM started. He needs continued functional training for his rehab and that is why we opened, Ryan can do his sessions and we can also help all people with disabilities as well.. Ryan loves a chat and has a great way of relating to people and supporting them when they come to us. Fun Facts: Ryan was once named Dubbos best contemporary dancer (got the moves like Garrett), Devilled sausages are his signature dish and he once ate Tarantula in Cambodia, now how is that for fun.

20.01.2022 VETERANS HEALTH WEEK This is Billy. Billy joined the army in 1969. He Deployed to Vietnam in 1970 and then continued to stay in the Army for 33years. Billy is a regular participant and volunteer at park run and also attends regular sessions at On The Move. He also volunteers a lot of time to other people and the community. 16.01.2022 MEET THE TEAM This is Laura. Laura is the newest addition to our team. Laura hails from the frosty depths of Orange NSW. She is fresh out of her final placement in her Masters studies, and we loved her vibe, initiative and drive to assist our participants in their recovery. Laura has a great personality and has already developed some positive rapports with our team and more importantly our participants! Welcome to the team Laura. ... Fun Facts: Laura can sing almost as well a Phoebe Buffay on Friends smelly cat, smelly cat ..... . She is not an amazing juggler, however, she may not be the worst. Laura has a bit of a habit of dislocating her shoulder, lawn bowls is even out of the question.

Eric attends On The Move Rehab on a regular basis for his physical health and general mobility. He is a member of the men’s shed, attends social outings and maintains a health diet. 12.01.2022 VETERANS HEALTH WEEK This is Andrew. Andrew joined the Army as a young 16yr old apprentice Plumber. He completed 2 years at the Army apprentice school and then 2 years at SME Sydney. He was then posted to 3CER Townsville. Following Andrew’s discharge he found teaching and was a PDHPE teacher in Dubbo for many years. Happy veterans health week Andrew and thanks for your service.

10.01.2022 Today is a very different Anzac Day, but it doesnt mean that we dont think about our Soldiers, past and present. The sacrifices that our service men and women have had is never forgotten. We are blessed to live in this country and are honoured to have many veterans attend On The Move and today we thank them and their families and pay our respects to those fallen soldiers. 06.01.2022 MEET THE TEAM This is Rebecca. Bec is our Senior Accredited Exercise Physiologist. She knows stuff... and is a great EP. Bec has moved around a bit, born in Mansfield Vic but grew up in the Beautiful town of Bathurst. ... Bec came on board with us at OTM only 1 month after we opened and has developed a great rapport with everyone. She started our ladies groups (pre COVID) and a lot of our participants say she is their favourite EP (dont tell Nic and Jake). Bec has a passion for improving peoples lives and is genuine in her delivery. Fun Facts: Bec spent 2 years driving dump trucks at a gold mine, she learnt how to ski in a Dubai shopping centre, her favourite family pet is a dingo and she eats more then a giant.

04.01.2022 MEET THE TEAM This is Rob. Rob comes to us not in a clinical role but in a well being role. Rob spends most of his days in at the school, working with kids and their families assisting them and supporting staff in many ways. Rob has a wealth of knowledge, he has been around the traps. He has some great ideas with utilising our NDIS registration and we cant wait to explore these ideas further, to give our participants even more options!! ... Fun facts: -Rob loves a hug, COVID-19 rules are stealing his thunder. He cant wait to get back amongst the adult hugs. - Rob is also known as Dave... not confusing at all!

01.01.2022 MEET THE TEAM This is Nic. Nic is one of our directors. Nic is a proud Perthville girl who moved to Dubbo in 2002 to follow her dreams of being a PDHPE teacher. Nic became an AEP in 2011 and is now living the dream. ... Nic has a passion for kids and disabilities and why not combine both by starting a disability rehab centre and having an affiliation with a local primary school providing an in school Ex Phys program. Nic has many proud moments but being able to provide a quality disability and rehab service to the community would be up there as one of the proudest. Fun facts: Nics favourite colour is Pink, she loves country music, will have a crack at any sport and loves to help people.

01.01.2022 Unfortunately our mens health, Ladies and kids groups have been put on hold until further notice. We are however still completing one on one sessions to continue with your care and rehab. If you cant come to us we can work out other ways to enable you to still access therapy. Remember if you are coming into On the move please ensure social distancing and hand hygiene.
