18.01.2022 A rare opportunity to purchase such a stunning property. Luxury home, established park- like gardens, gorgeous outlook and lovely horse facilities - located between Toowoomba and Warwick on the beautiful Darling Downs!

15.01.2022 An old timer once said ‘Find something you love to do and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.’ Imagine working surrounded by three things you love? I wish these stable walls could talk. They’d tell us a history as old as the Darling Downs itself - over 100yrs of horse tales from the teams of noble draught horses to faithful buggy horses, kids ponies in the garden to the finest bloodstock in the country. A long, proud history of producing outstanding racehorses an...d a property that embraces history, horses and gardens. Work? .. You might say I’m in my element

10.01.2022 Gardens are not made by singing ‘Oh, how beautiful!’ and sitting in the shade! ~ Rudyard Kipling, Complete Verse . These hedges were lovingly crafted over 4yrs to become something that was not only beautiful in any light, but also created intimacy. Their height and density gave great privacy and a wonderful sound buffer from the busy world outside. .... Recycled school house timber was repurposed to create two matching oversized timber arbors eventually adorned with beautiful Wisteria sinensis. (see last pic!) . The design also accommodated a cross axes that was both practical and inviting, encouraging the visitor to explore the gardens beyond. It took time, it took patience but it was so worth the effort and the results speak for themselves!

09.01.2022 Designed 1896 by Robin Dods 'the man who built Brisbane' - the home was moved to Deuchar from it's Clayfield origin in 1981. Formerly called 'Rahere House' it was built for Dr Nall in 1897 before being acquired by Turrawan Private Hospital. With commanding views of the Great Diving Range the home is now located atop a hill at Deuchar, outside Allora on Queensland's Darling Downs. Rivoli featured on the first episode of ABCtv's garden series 'Dream Gardens' and is now the base for garden designer Clint Kenny's gardens and his beloved Percheron horses.

06.01.2022 It’s blooming good weather on the Darling Downs, petals. Restrictions have eased & Toowoomba’s iconic Carnival of Flowers is proceeding in a slightly smaller, CoVid safe manner!! If you’re looking for a day trip, be sure to check out some of our favourite locations: Starting with a stroll through Queens Park, in the centre of town the council gardeners have been working hard to make sure the garden city is keeping up its tradition of beautiful lush blooms and free ...Continue reading

02.01.2022 Outward Views - such an important consideration in any garden, especially in the country. Good design is not only aesthetically pleasing, it’s also environmentally responsible and can also solve a myriad of problems.. drainage issues, directing traffic, create practical or utility spaces and screen unsightly views. ...or it can frame the view of the neighbouring farms, distant mountains and your beautiful Percheron broodmares
