15.01.2022 Thanks very much to Steve and Richard at Paddles for organising the Clinics we were able to provide in the first weekend of each month in 2020. Last Saturday wrapped up our final Clinic for this year, which has certainly offered a number of paddlers knowledge and direction with their paddling in this everchanging year. The sport of paddling has benefited greatly in 2020 with the amount of interest from people due to the Covid restrictions that were placed on so many of us, so... all the best to everyone for a safe and enjoyable Christmas out on the water!! See you in 2021, Clint Robinson OAM Olympic & Multiple World Champion

07.01.2022 SOUTH AUSTRALIAN CLINICS WRAP-UP! It was great to be back down in South Australia recently for a long weekend of Surf Life Saving and Technique Clinics. The weather was kind again for this Queenslander, with the sun shining the majority of the time, but that cool south/westerly wind came up a couple of times that had my northern bones vibrating a little once I was wet out on the water :)... FRIDAY We began the day with some 1-on-2 Clinics. GLENELG SLSC NIPPERS The afternoon was for a Nipper Clinic at the Glenelg SLSC, that involved approx. 40 young and eager chargers with a healthy number of parents supporting the water activities. It's always a pleasure to help the younger members of the surf develop the skills with their equipment in the ocean. I would like to say thank you to Steve Dalton, Tash Tunney and all the parents that assisted with the afternoon. SATURDAY GLENELG SLSC SKI CLINIC A big Saturday began with the Glenelg SLSC Spec Ski paddlers being filmed on The Pat so we could do some video feedback on each paddler after discussing the correct technique movement patterns, so each individual was able to take away an understanding of how to develop moving forward. Thanks to Craig Burton, Mick Billing and Steve Dalton for making the session possible. The remaining time on Saturday was again utilised for key 1-on-1 Clinics. SUNDAY GRANGE SLSC BOARD & SPEC SKI The final Clinics were run on West Lakes, that began with a Malibu Board Technique and Starts Clinic, which allowed us to work through a series of efforts to highlight key technique areas that deliver better skills and speed. We then spent a good 2 hours running through ski paddling Technique Drills to assist everybody with how to move the spec ski in the most efficient way. Thank you, Rod Daniels and Ben Edmunds for your efforts to create the Clinics. Thank you to everybody that assisted with the Clinics we put together, and I hope everybody that attended the various sessions are on their way to improving their on water performance. To Steve, Kerry & the Lads, thank you again for having me in your home and I look forward to catching up again during the season! Cheers, Clint Robinson OAM Olympic & Multiple World Champion
