25.01.2022 Clique Social Media came to fruition in 2014. Working full time managing Social Media accounts for a national group, our founder Ashlee saw an opportunity to share her skillset to help everyday businesses excel on Social Media. Fast forward 6 years and almost 100 business collaborations later, CSM has gained experience in a variety of industries and with result driven approach, it has established itself as a preferred social media agency for many businesses.... ? The biggest difference with CSM is that we work on Social Media campaigns, all day, every day. Social Media isn’t a side cart service or add on, it is the foundation of everything we do. Because of this we are able to deliver you the highest quality results possible. Clique Social Media is also a part of Facebook’s Agency Support Program, enabling us to communicate directly with Facebook to ensure optimal results at every level for your campaigns. Through this partnership with Facebook, our staff also participate in weekly training in order to keep up to date with the everchanging landscape that is Social Media. -

25.01.2022 The Grass Was Greener Or was it? Are your pre-COVID Facebook advertising results looking like a well watered office plant compared to the shrivelled succulent you're working with now? Come here... let's hug it out and get you back on track. The pandemic has reduced consumer spending in some areas and impacted businesses, driving decreases in many advertising budgets. Because of this, we've had to find ways to get the same results for our clients with fewer dollars.... How? We were lucky enough to be chosen as a Facebook Agency Partner 12 months ago which gives us access to "next level" training resources and support directly from the source. Our strategy is either: Same preCOVID Spend - Better ROI OR Lower preCOVID Spend - Same ROI You choose? See more

24.01.2022 PSA: We don't just watch TikTok all day Well, we like to call it market research. What started as a sing along platform has fast become one of the fastest growing paid advertising platforms of 2020! (Sorry LinkedIn maybe next year.) Advertising on TikTok could potentially be a cost-effective way to grow your business, reach new customers, and drive conversions. But it is important to get in quick before it becomes another saturated market such as IG and FB. ... What to consider when creating a TikTok campaign: Create engaging content - this is the MOST important for a successful TikTok ad campaign. Can't sell it if they don't watch it! Get your formats right for In-Feed ads - meaning make sure you optimise each format, no one wants to see half your logo or some text cropped out. Meet your business goals by choosing the right objective - website clicks, app downloads and online sales. : @iam_acecraft See more

24.01.2022 Mind Blank If social media has you staring at your screen like Bec caught off guard, it might be time to look into outsourcing your Facebook and Instagram content or ads. But, tread lightly kittens, because finding the right external fit for your brand is not just important, it's EVERYTHING. Here at Clique we thrive on working with brands that we clique with (see what we did there?), and to be perfectly transparent, sometimes that means referring some enquiries to ot...her agencies who we see as a better fit than us. So, why not book in a bullsh*t free, obligation free discovery call with us and let's see if we should be vibin' together in 2021 See more

24.01.2022 Let's start with a few stats around Facebook Live posts over Q2 2020. On Facebook, images were the most common post type, followed by video at 17.5%. Facebook Live videos, which actually garner the highest number of organic post interactions, were only used 1% of the time, which is actually an 85.2% increase compared to Q1 2020.... In the last quarter, on average, a Facebook Live video got an average of 28 organic post interactions compared to images (18) and regular video (17). Figures for thought if you're trying to squeeze the illusive organic reach out of your page!

20.01.2022 , While on a video conference with Facebook's higher powers this week, we asked... what do people want from businesses on social media with everything that is going on in the world? Their response? Authenticity, compassion and contribution. 35% of people surveyed said they recently started using a new brand because of the innovative or compassionate way the brand has responded to the coronavirus outbreak.... 65% of people surveyed said how brands respond to the pandemic will have a 'huge impact' on their likelihood to buy that brand in the future. 19.01.2022 Yesterday Instagram released its biggest new feature since the creation of Stories. Dubbed as "a new way to create and discover short, entertaining videos on Instagram." Reels allows you to create and edit 15-second multi-clip videos with audio, effects, and new creative tools + share on both your own channel as well as the Explore page. HOLD UP. This sounds kind of like TikTok I hear you say... You'd be correct in thinking so! Much like Snapchat inspired th...e stories feature (when we say inspired we mean they basically duplicated the platform), the Reels feature is a blatant replica of the recently hugely popular TikTok platform. With TikTok at risk of being banned in multiple countries, the Instagram fam could not have timed this better. - Whenever a new feature is released, the platform naturally wants to trial it. So early adopters are likely to see great organic results by simply using Reels so give it a go! See more

19.01.2022 The original influencer If Lilly Bollinger was alive today she would be our 'IT' girl. When asked about champagne she said: I drink it when I’m happy and when I’m sad. Sometimes I drink it when I’m alone. When I have company I consider it obligatory. I trifle with it if I’m not hungry and drink it when I am. Otherwise, I never touch itunless I’m thirsty.

17.01.2022 Prospect like a pro We live in a social world where Facebook, Instagram are used over billion times each month, there is a way you can use this to your advantage. Your business can reach new people and give them the opportunity to sign up for a service, learn more about a product or enter a competition basically, just a fancy way of saying... generate leads. But the first step is to make sure your platforms are set up for lead generation, here is how to hunt down the... best leads for your business using your social channels: Capture your lead - Firstly, don't be a d*ck, let them know what they’re signing up for. Then, show them why you are worthy of giving away a personal email address! Draw you lead in - "Giving in return," offering your audience something in return for their information. Landing Pages - Test different landing pages of your website to see which has the highest click-through and conversion rate. Don't forget the endless retargeting opportunities for those who aren’t ready to convert. 16.01.2022 Every business needs a player, be it internal or external, that doesn't get too bogged down with the details and just makes sh*t happen. These people can send control freaks into hyperventilation but they are actually so important when it comes to driving projects forward. Stepping onto an unpaved path is risky, but it's also where the magic happens.... Do you have a make sh*t happen person? We can lend you one if you like See more

14.01.2022 The art of Facebook and Instagram advertising is target customisation. On very few platforms can you have one message spoken in 20 different ways, depending on who is being spoken to. Think of it this way... Your grandmother and your 18-year-old brother might both be interested in booking a holiday to New Zealand, but it would probably be for entirely different reasons.... If you're selling flights to New Zealand, you may want to target 18-30 year-olds with an action-packed, adrenaline-fueled ad creative, but target the 55+ demographic with a sightseeing, relaxing vibe. You're still selling the same tickets, but you're appealing to individual demographics to drive more sales than a generic approach that appeals to everyone and possibly no one! Are you segmenting your audience and customising their messages? See more

14.01.2022 The average millionaire has 7 streams of income. How good would it be to have one coming from something you love to do? There are so many success stories out there that have started with a hobby or side hustle, that gain traction and enable people to quit their day jobs and focus on what they love to do full time! Good news is, you can get started (and test the market) at a pretty low cost online. Platforms such as etsy and amazon allow you to se...ll online without setting up your own eCommerce website. 14.01.2022 , Why you should be using automatic placements when setting up Facebook ads. 1 Maximize results... Automatically allocate your budget toward the most cost-effective audiences across several apps and services. 2 Optimize ad delivery Let machine learning help you effectively improve delivery in real-time. 3 Extend reach Automatically connect with your audience where they spend their time across Facebook, Instagram, Audience Network, Messenger and more. Tip: When using automatic placements, ensure that you customise some creatives to fit the placements, so that they don't look out of place (i.e Stories).

14.01.2022 Why your Facebook Ads are going to cost you 150% more overnight... The story starts with a cookie. Not a tasty morsel, but a small amount of data generated by a website and saved by your web browser, so that tidbits about your preferences and information on you can be used to enhance your user experience. But, cookies are due to be phased out over the next year or so, which could potentially have astronomical effects on your digital marketing - if you’re not prepared. If yo...u use Social Media Advertising as a part of your digital strategy, and you’re not prepared for this phase out, you’re going see your cost per action increase by up to 150%. HUGE right? Facebook’s workaround is called the Conversions API and it’s implementation is absolutely essential. Eventually this will replace the Facebook Pixel, but you can install it right now to ensure that you avoid any downtime in the crossover. It’s a bit to get your head around so if you need more information or help, shoot us a message!

11.01.2022 Brand loyalty that is. AKA the tendency of consumers to continuously purchase one brand's products over another. Consumer behavior patterns demonstrate that consumers will continue to buy products from a company that has fostered a trusting relationship. The invention of social media has enabled brands to nurture these trusting relationships with their consumers like never before. If you're purely looking at your social channels as a sales tool, this is where yo...u're missing out. Here's a few things you can try, to build relationships with your customers on social media: Participate in banter - a few lols really do go a long way. GIFS are your friend. Ask for their opinion - Need to choose between A & B for your next product line? Ask your community which they prefer (and create buzz for the upcoming release while you're at it). Feature your customers. How does John use your product? What does he love most about it? Create interaction driven content. EG. If you're a pet-related brad you may ask people to show you the last photo they took of their pet. None of these angles directly ask the consumer to purchase your product, but relationship building is proven to have long term positive outcomes for your bottom line. Try these out and let us know how you go! See more

11.01.2022 ' ... . Sharing your knowledge online is an extremely powerful way to market your service. If people are going to engage you or do business with you, they want to be confident that you know your stuff right? But what if writing isn't your forte? Our advice is to write anyway! Carry a notebook around with you and jot down any ideas for content that you have during the day. These ideas don't need to be well executed or written in ...the Queen's English. At the end of the day take your notes and expand on your thoughts in a longer form. Doing this exercise daily will help you to improve your writing skills. In the mean time, you could have someone else edit your notes and create social media posts and blogs for you, or you could base some informative videos off your notes (if you're more comfortable in getting your message across verbally). 09.01.2022 Instagram pods. Yeah they're still a thing... If you're unaware what an Instagram pod is, its a group of accounts that get together to try to beat the Instagram algorithm by constantly liking and engaging with each other's content.... Sounds good in theory, but here's a few reasons why its a terrible idea to participate: 1 Instagram will show you content to those who like and engage most as a priority - if it's showing your pod-buddies first (who aren't your customers), your ACTUAL customers and potential customers may actually see less of your content organically. 2 The 'gram has been around the block a few times and it knows what you're up to. Accounts that don't play by the rules are low key punished with limited reach ongoing. 3 Likes + comments (in this situation) are purely a vanity metric. Authenticity is what Instagram is all about. Faking it until you make it is going to do more damage to your account than you may realise. See more

05.01.2022 Contrary to popular belief, micro-influencers are not very very small Instagram models. A micro-influencer is someone who focuses on a specific niche and has between 1,000 to 100,000 followers. They are generally regarded as an industry expert or topic specialist and have stronger relationships with their followers than a typical influencer.... It's a classic case of quality over quantity. It has been shown time and time again, influencers with 50k followers can actually generate more income for your business through collaboration than an influencer with 1m followers. So, instead of aspiring to feature on Kylie Jenner's feed, seek out the micro-influencers relevant for your niche. They're often more affordable to work with, but they may be picky with who they represent as your ethos will need to align with theirs to maintain their quality presence. See more

05.01.2022 Put down the tinfoil hats and lets talk privacy Personalization doesn’t have to come at the expense of privacy. Facebook can do both, and Facebook can do both well. When you take an action on Facebook, such as following a Page, clicking a link or liking a post, Facebook uses that information to personalize your experience, including the ads you see.... With Facebook and Instagram being a free platforms for users, it's a given that you'll be exposed to some advertising, much like free to air TV, glossy magazines or FM radio. By collecting information about what you like, where you shop and what your interests are, Facebook can show you ads that are most likely to be relevant to you - enhancing your user experience rather than taking away from it. This doesn't mean that your likes, dislikes and online behaviours become public or accessible knowledge. You are basically a number, an IP address, an anonymous piece of code. Simultaneously, this algorithm provides advertisers with a very cost effective platform to promote their business on due to this high level audience refinement. Win/Win right? See more

05.01.2022 ' How you frame your messaging has a huge impact on the outcome of your content or advertising. You may not even be aware of whether your messaging is positive or negative, so without getting too far in to consumer behavior... let's break this down. Negative framing focuses on terrible outcomes or current situations. Eg. "More than 4,000 die every year because they weren’t wearing a seatbelt"... Positive Framing focuses on optimistic outcomes: Eg. "Seat belts save more than 13,000 lives every year" Studies have shown, social media advertising is more successful when you appeal to positive human emotions within your messaging. Facebook has even put guidelines in place for ad copy that is targeting personal attributes whereby positive framing is a must to get your advert approved so that users do not feel personally attacked. More Examples? Ok. Need to lose some extra kgs after lockdown? - Negative feels. Bad Start your journey to health and happiness - Positive feels. Good This is a really interesting A/B test to run - try it out for yourself. See more
