23.01.2022 Wetbags are amazing and versatile to have alongside kids. They are waterproof, washable and reusable. Think of wetbags to replace plastic bags, especially when keeping wet bathers and dirty kids clothes separate to the rest of the nappy bag. Wetbags also come with easy snap handles and gorgeous prints. Here are some uses for the different sizes of wetbags (trust me, there are more!)... Mini wetbags/Teeny Tote - small toys, pencils. colouring books. Perfect size for kids to carry themselves Double pocket wetbag - great for separating wet from dry, dirty from clean. Hands down my go to for a condensed nappy bag Large wetbags/Beach Bag - great for more nappies when heading to daycare or to carry a range of items when heading out for the day. Candie pods - created by @bubblebubs which store 6 Candie Ai2 nappies in. These also work well for toiletries XL hanging wetbags - use for storage of your nappy stash or personally my favourite for the dirty laundry bag for the whole family when travelling. Cloth Baby has an extensive range of wetbags in a range of gorgeous prints and colours. What other uses do you use for wetbags? I’d love to hear more ideas

14.01.2022 If you have heard my story, you will know that my own cloth nappy journey didn’t start off as well as I had planned. Least to say, that I failed miserably attempting to use cloth nappies with my first child. I knew no one else using cloth and once I had gone through the handful of cheap ones, I slipped back to disposables. I now know >you don’t know what you don’t know< and my failing with cloth nappies wasn’t because I was bad at using reusables, I just didn’t equip mys...elf with the right information and didn’t reach out for any help. I have put together some top tips about what I wish I knew before I started using cloth nappies. Take it from someone who has been down that path and is now saying 'If only I knew this back then!'. Equipping yourself with this information I hope will help you succeed when using reusable nappies for your baby. Check out the blog here

10.01.2022 Call me Santa's Sustainable Shopper - because I have found my favourite gifts from @cocoroseeco Ultimate Eco-Friendly Gift Guide 1 I love @sokaaustralia and her Soka Tub because every parent with young kids needs this type of convenience in the laundry. This tub is dived into three compartments which easily separates soaking needs and is easily drained and placed in the washing matching without toughing anything! 2 I love @pod_star and her reusable stainless steel pod...s because now I can come round to those coffee pods. What can be a very wasteful, single use item, is now reusable and with your own choice of coffee! 3 I love @happyplanettoys and her recycled plastic bath toys because the world doesn’t need any more plastic! These bath toys are made from recycled milk bottles are are designed to drain and dry (no more icky wet toys!) @sustainablesally_au I know you would like this approach too! I heard Miranda speak on the @cocoroseeco Podcast and it was inspiring to hear about her business Oh and by the way, tomorrow is the last day to shop in the Ultimate Eco-Friendly Gift Guide! My 20% discount finishes on the 11th of November at midnight. Shop greener this Christmas to make an Impact on our planet Which business is your favourite from the Gift Guide? 08.01.2022 Truth: It can be overwhelming starting off using cloth nappies! There are just so many brands, styles and types out there, it is easy to even get confused. When I created Cloth Baby, I wanted to make things as easy as possible for new parents, hence why I have deliberately decided to only stock THREE brands of modern cloth nappies. These brands are longstanding, leading and Australian owned Seedling Baby, Baby BeeHinds and Bubblebubs Modern Cloth Nappies ... Starting off with a trial pack is a great way to test out different fits and styles so you know what works for you and your baby. It’s one of the things I wish I knew before I started using cloth nappies and one of the points I cover in my recent blog post: 7 things I wish I knew before I started using cloth. I have created trial packs for newborn and one-size-fits-most with these three brands so you can essentially try before you confidently invest in one or two styles.
