01.01.2022 The heat of summer has given us all a hammering. But for the hairiest members of the family, this season can well and truly hit them for six. So heres a tip th...at will give them relief and maybe even return them to the little hell-raiser we know and love. Pets feel the heat well before you do. In fact, theyre struggling well before you see your friends car temperature readings on instagram. Yes its that quick. But if you notice theyre quieter than usual, panting uncontrollably or shedding huge amounts of hair then its time to take the stress out of their summer. Aside from the thick hair coat, our pets struggle with heat because they dont sweat like we do. So why not do the sweating for them. Heres how you do it - Grab a simple water spray bottle and fill it with water - Place this bottle in the fridge - Once the water is cool, give them a light misting on their belly, feet and underarms. These areas have a great blood supply so will help to cool their body down even faster. Keep safe out there!
