12.01.2022 Over eight sessions, teacher Celeste Coucke and students explored artworks from the Ancient Greek world. Each student created a collection of ceramic works inspired by ancient Cycladic and Mycenaean art works. Students were taught the basics of hand-building : pinching, coiling, slab building and sculpting. The works were decorated using oxides and slips; some were burnished, many were engraved.
