23.01.2022 Very important message While writing a date in the upcoming year 2020, we should write in its full format, e.g. 31/01/2020 and not as 31/01/20, because anyone can change it to 31/01/2000 or 31/01/2019 or in between any year to suit their convenience. So be cautious about this. Don't write it and also don't accept it in any documents, lest it could lose its importance.... This problem will persist only during the year 2020. Please pass to as many as possible

We are looking for donations of old laptops please... preferably working, but if not that is ok. These laptops will be securely refurbished and made available to those requiring them through GIVIT, for the victims of the recent and ongoing fires and others in need.... The laptops will go a long way to help those who have lost everything to access online resources vital to assist them with things like insurance claims, banking, ordering new identity documents and the like, and not to mention communicate with friends and family during these trying times. The laptops received will have all data securely wiped (we can back it up for you too if you need!). The laptops will be repaired if need be and where possible, before having an operating system installed and a full service and clean. They will then be either donated to someone already requiring a laptop or added as an available laptop ready for when it is needed by someone in need via the GIVIT platform. 02.01.2022 COVID-19 Update Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the rules around social distancing which have been put in place to protect us all, Clough I.T. Solutions will be implementing the following changes effective immediately: Remote Access Service: Where possible we will attempt to assist using remote access technologies. In order for us to do this it is important that the device is able to connect to the internet and it has the ability to install the remote access softwar...e. Obviously if your device is not working this is not possible and we will continue to assist with our other services with the changes detailed below. Onsite Service: Onsite Service will only be made available for services which meet a certain criteria and only if a safe working environment is made available to us which complies with the rules and regulations in effect at the time the service is to be conducted. In place of onsite service we can still offer our free pickup / delivery service for those within 25km of Ormeau ($11.00 outside this area), you are welcome to drop your device to us by appointment or we may be able to offer a remote access service. Additionally, for business critical devices only, we may offer an after hours workshop service to reduce downtime impact on your business. The availability will be restricted for obvious reasons and the service will not be available for devices which are not classed as business critical. Pickup / Delivery: Our pickup / delivery service will continue as per normal, however, we will be offering a contactless service if requested where we will call you upon arrival at your premises, the device is the placed in a pre arranged location. We stay on the phone until we / you collect the device to ensure its safety. Workshop Drop Off / Pickup: Our workshop service will continue as per normal, however, we will be offering a contactless service if requested where a place is made available for you to place your device. You can then call / ring the doorbell and step back to a safe distance. We will then come and bring the device into our workshop so that you know the device is safe. These are rapidly changing times that we are living in and our main focus is ensuring the safety of our customers and our families. As the COVID-19 crisis continues to evolve we may need to adjust our processes further but our aim is to continue to be here to provide the assistance you need with minimal interruption.
