25.01.2022 We held a working bee at the Hall on 22 August. Thanks to our volenteers who put in the bollards and cleaned almost the whole interior. Great work, guys!

20.01.2022 Santa has arrived in style this year! The annual McKess Hill hall Christmas party was held last night with a special guest and Tomki had a very important task to get him there I'm time to hand out all the present to the children

12.01.2022 Hey great people the community BBQ stall is back at the hall every Thursday and Friday.

11.01.2022 Due to the need to slow the spread of the covid19 pandemic the hall, as directed by the government authorities, is now closed as a venue for entertainment and sport. When the hall committee knows more we will share it here.

10.01.2022 C'mon up for some lunch.

09.01.2022 After over 100 years of providing a venue for community events the Hall Committee has had to close the hall, until the government lifts emergency measures to curb the current pandemic. One of the sad realities of trying to save lives. The first hall was built by those who lived through the Boar War and WW1. The hall we have now was built by those who lived through WW2. Our forefathers were strong and resilient and our challenge is to see if we can match their resilience in the face of adversity. Stay safe everyone.

06.01.2022 Thankyou to everyone who came along to our Trivia and Games night on Saturday and joined in the fun. We had a ball and raised much needed funds for the hall. A big shout out to all who donated goods for the raffle including Lamonts Honey, McKees Hill Honey, The Chile Banditos, Cottage Collection and to hall committee members for their efforts to make the night a success. While the start was delayed by the power failure while we sorted a generator and we lit candles on the tables everyone was most understanding. Thankyou once again to our retiring Quiz Master Mr Michael Reynolds, enjoy your travels. Looks like we might have to find a grant for either a generator or solar with batteries so that we always have power!

03.01.2022 On ANZAC Day Saturday at 6am the flag will be raised at the Clovass McKees Hill Soldiers Memorial Hall. It will be taken down at sunset. Please feel free to come to our Anzac memorial behind the hall throughout the day and pay your respects to those who served. Please respect the rules for social distancing in place at this time of pandemic.

01.01.2022 Great news for our hall community! The extra lock will soon be taken off the front door. From Friday we will again be able to use the hall, due to easing of Government rules for the pandemic. At this stage we are only able to have gatherings of 10 people, so very limited, but this should allow a small meeting, game of bowls or some other activities to take place. Please remember to stick to the rules for physical distancing and hand washing. Watch this space for exciting news about our planned solar project.
