13.01.2022 Another satisfying job done- This Davcar float was bought to us a few months back after sustaining damage when someone ran into the back of it with their car. Luckily no horses on board. It was a big job bringing it back to it former self, unfortunately hindered by the fact that it was made in China and unfortunately parts where very difficult to source. Luckily for the floats owner she had a good insurance policy on the float which covered everything. Lessons to be learnt ...- Always buy Australian made if you can. Have you float insured. 04.01.2022 Very sad day for us but unfortunately the float hire part of our business is to be shut down effective immediately. We no longer enjoy Sunday afternoons when the float gets returned dirty, damaged, late or all of the above. We offered these beautiful floats for hire as we saw a real lack of high end quality, safe reliable floats for hire in the Adelaide Hills. Our floats are very popular and have been all around the country. ... In recent months we have seen an influx of people returning the float very dirty, damaged or late with complete disregard to the fact they have signed a 5 page document saying they except they need to bring the float back clean, undamaged and on time. We except that accidents happen and horses can be unpredictable, however what we will not except any longer is the abuse or rudeness we cope when we pull people up on it. A simple I’m sorry would be nice. Photos attached of the float bought back recently apparently clean today and in recent weeks This float is now for sale $$$ To any of our long standing clients who have done the right thing, we are happy to still take bookings until the float is sold. After that we are sorry that we can no longer offer this service.
