24.01.2022 Great to see we are on the road to recovery. Unfortunately due to the restrictions imposed in stage 1 it is not viable for the Club to reopen at this stage. Hopefully stage 2 restictions will change and provide us with a better opportunity to reopen. As things stand at the moment we are confident that we will be able to reopen at stage 3 from the 10th July. Please note that all membership expiry dates have been extended from 1 April to the 1 October 2020. Stay safe and we hope to see you all back very soon.

18.01.2022 Vale Peter Garrod It is with much sadness we announce to our Club Glenvale family, that last weekend, Peter Garrod lost his battle with cancer and passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Peter was a well known and respected manager across both the pub and club industry. He was Club Glenvale's manager for over 18 years, winning multiple awards including: *2009 Clubs Qld Best Club Re Devleopment over $1 million... *2010 Clubs Qld Best General Sports Club Small Club *2010 Clubs Qld Best Club Darling Downs & South West QLD *2011 Clubs Qld Best General Sports Club Small Club *2012 Clubs Qld Best Club Darling Downs & South West QLD *2014 Clubs Qld Best Sports Club Large Club *2019 Clubs Qld Best Sport Club Large Club *2019 Clubs Qld Best Club Darling Downs & South West QLD Peter also sat on the Board of Clubs Queensland for six years then was a Clubs Queensland Zone Representative for a further two years. Peter’s dedication to the Club, staff and our patrons were without question. Our thoughts are with Peter’s family and friends during this difficult time. RIP Pete, you will be dearly missed by all at Club Glenvale.

14.01.2022 Under the new stage 3 restrictions we are pleased to announce: Club opens daily at 10am Bistro open 7 days for lunch & dinner with a maximum of 55 patrons. Bookings are highly recommended to avoid disappointment. Takeaway meals available... Patrons are welcome to order at the bar & the bistro Bar, TAB & KENO are open with a capacity of 50 people inside and 25 on the deck Gaming Room is open with a maximum capacity of 45 patrons (All machines playable with appropriate social distancing to be observed) All patrons entering the Club MUST complete contact tracing requirements Total capacity is based on 1 person per 4sqm rule Patrons are required to practice social distancing whilst in the Club We thank members and guests for their understanding and support through these unprecedented times. 09.01.2022 HI to all our members and guests. With the Qld Governments further easing of restrictions the Club is working towards a reopening date. Currently we are limited to 20 people across the entire venue which is still not viable for the Club, however there is Government consideration for allowing 20 people across multiple areas subject to a COVID 19 industry safe plan. The Club Industry has submitted a plan and is waiting for Government approval. Once this plan has been approved... we will work towards a reopening date. Included within this plan are many policies and protocols that must be followed and as a Community Club we are committed to ensuring a safe and sustainable return to trade. We thank all our wonderful members for your support in the past and for your patience while we work through the current situation. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Club as soon as possible.
