24.01.2022 We are returning!!!!! . First Thursday in August - the 6th. The stage is fully booked!! Some favourites and some fabulous quirky new combos that have come tog...ether in these Covid times! Was pretty tricky to choose from the people who were already booked in those months we missed Due to the pandemic (which is still with us as you know, but not so close to the Maleny RSL!) so I put out for people who created new work during the lockdown, and we have a fully local line up. . We will of course be limiting the numbers to be safe - will get back to you on that. You’ll need to be early! Doors open at 6, first act 6.30. We’ve missed you! Look forward to seeing you. 23.01.2022 Sadly, no Club Acoustic for April, or for the near future. Sensibly, we all still need to stay at home. Make as much music, write as many poems - even if they're only 1 line long - and make delicious food for yourself as often as possible. There's art to made with as simple resources as your breath! 22.01.2022 thanks to Daawat Indian, SukoThai and Jen's pizzas for being able to supply food at short notice for Club Acoustic last night. And to Lyn, Pam, Trish, Josephine and Leo for serving the food; to Peter, Arnaud and Leo for food pick up, to Clarky for sorting that big stainless steel thingo for keeping the food warm. Really Lovely night out supporting local talent, and connecting with friends in your community. Performers - please note that spots to play at ClubAcoustic usually book out at least a month beforehand, so keep in mind booking early if you’d like to play.

20.01.2022 As you may have realised by now, there'll be no Club Acoustic for a bit. Let's hope it's not too long, but also hoping that we do understand that it could be for quite some time. Bring on the vaccine! Take care everybody - this virus is no picnic and if you're feeling kinda cavalier about it, might be time to find out as much as you can about it. 17.01.2022 Club Acoustic is ON this Thursday 3 rd September. Fantastic lineup of women performers including 4 acts never before seen at Club Acoustic!! The August Club Acoustic was FULL by 6.15pm - we are a Covid Safe event and can only have 70 people through the door. Doors are open 5.30. Food, Bar, Connection, Fun, Inspiration, Boldness, Loveliness.

11.01.2022 Another fabulous night at Maleny RSL's Club Acoustic. 95 people through the door (all you muses looking for a GOOD audience, it's here!), a host of talented and passionate women performing, with a couple of sensitive males as well! The wonderful Michael Whittaker and his offsider Doug Pullen on sound (lots of great feedback from the musicians re Michael's sound); Ann Donoghoe's team with great food a very good value for money, and of course Chris and the team at the RSL supporting our local talent all the way.

08.01.2022 Thursday Last week would have been the April CLub Acoustic. . Unfortunately that darn pandemic has meant we couldn't proceed as usual. However - soon there will be some little audio, and perhaps even some video gifts up on this page from some of our Club Acoustic performers. Keep you posted! 04.01.2022 We’re on again! Thursday 1st October for our 3rd Club Acoustic since things eased after Covid. Once again, numbers are limited to 85, including performers, which means around about 75 through the door. We filled up by 6.15 in August and September, so be there early. It’s not possible to book, or to ask our lovely doorman Terry Ryder to save you a table, so come early and use the time to socialise. We have a new and surprising act as our opener at 6.30! See you then.

02.01.2022 next Club Acoustic is Thursday 5th March, featuring Women and pianos. We will be starting 6.30 sharp with a super gorgeous short act that you don't want to miss. Come at 6, order your meal and socialise. See you then. Just to let you know, we are booked out now till June! Last year we started to consistently booked out a month ahead, but its looking like 2/3 months now. So, we're officially not really a blackboard night. We might have to change our banner!

01.01.2022 There is NO Club Acoustic for January - too close to New Years Day. If you out and about in Maleny, you can always check for our sign. If its up (on the main street side outside the RSL) we're on, and if its not up, we're not on! Only January is not on. Every other month, we'll see you there. We are on for the FIRST THURSDAY in February. The line up for Feb is full. See you then. Best wishes for a fulfilled 2020 .
