Michelle kicked the morning off with a relaxing Yoga class, followed by a Meet & Greet and education session with our Club Active Dietitian, Jean-Mari. With special guest, Susie joining us from the Cancer Council and our Exercise Physiologist, Mel talking about the benefits of exercise and breast cancer. We have special limited edition PINK shirts and singlets available to purchase, so get your hands on one QUICK, before they all sell out! It's also our 1ST BIRTHDAY this month and we'd love for you to come and celebrate with us! Bring a friend along to the classes with you and come and celebrate with us on Friday at 11am!

We were so happy with the turn out for our first ever information session here at Club Active Burleigh. We can’t wait for the next one! If you missed the session, but would like any information on Prostate Cancer and exercise, feel free to ask Shaun next time you’re in. ... Having university qualified allied health professionals, in not just a clinic but a GYM setting, we are able to give expert guidance on a range of health conditions and provide sessions like these to our members. 02.01.2022 Hey Crew! Just a reminder about our Prostate Cancer Talk today at 10am with Shaun. It's a great opportunity to open the conversation around men's health and particular the prostate, as it is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men. Yet we don't talk about it a whole lot... This isn't just a talk for our members, we want your your husband, father, son and friend to come along! Even if you're supporting someone else through prostate cancer or you'd just like to know more on the topic, come along! EVERYONE IS WELCOME.

02.01.2022 This year Club Active will be supporting The Salvation Army Australia / Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal. It is Australia’s largest and longest-running gift collection Appeal for those in need. With unprecedented heartache and hardship experienced in our communities this year resulting from the bushfires and COVID-19, we’d like to do our bit to help ensure Christmas is a little brighter for everyone. If you’re in a position to, please bring in a NEW, UNWRAPPED gift suitable for a ch...ild and place it under our Christmas Tree at reception. Some gift suggestions: books, arts and craft, educational toys, board games, toiletries, musical instruments, back to school supplies, sporting equipment, gift cards. We will be collecting from Monday 30 November till Wednesday 16 December (to allow enough time to distribute before Christmas). Thank you for your support!
