24.01.2022 Through the Thriving Through Crisis series, we spoke to over 500 Leaders in Community Sport about the things that excited and worries them about the first lock-down as well as their priorities to ensure that they go to the other side in the best possible shape. As we look at The lessons from last time, we see that: We were excited about the better use of technology; the support of the community; the opportunity to plan for a better future and the anticipation of the reb...oot to come. We were worried about uncertainty; financial stability; support of councils and peak bodies and the retention of members Our top priorities were Communication; Engagement; Collaboration and Planning The Lock-down is both a setback and a gift. Which ever way we look at the next 42 days, we have six weeks to do something great. We need to Re-think; re-invent; re-new; re-engage and re-lax. August 20th is closer than you think.
