Kellie is one of the friendly faces who help make the Bingo magic happen at both Menai and Hurstville. You will also see her at reception and helping our members enjoy themselves as a VIP Host. Kellie lives locally and loves getting to know and building relationships with our members. Kellie is also a super mu...m with three beautiful children and in her spare time likes to catch up with friends and spend time out and about with family. She also works teaching children how to swim. We are very proud to have you on our team Kellie! 18.01.2022 Get to know the know our Club Central team; Anne Membership Coordinator, Club Central Anne started her working life in retail with her first role at 17 working for Woolworths at Town Hall. Anne’s Career in hospitality took off 18 years ago at Revesby Workers Club as a bar attendant and then progressed to gaming, reception, functions, cash control, cellar and the club Bottle Shop. Anne became a valuable asset to the industry. Due to her strong work ethic and bubbly ‘can do’ ...attitude, she was promoted to a club Supervisor and then Duty Manager. After working 13 years of shift work, Anne decided she needed a change and began her career at Club Central as our Membership Coordinator. Anne has really enjoyed the change and is constantly learning new skills. Her role has a strong focus in analytics, managing both venue’s reception staff while being a wizard with our club membership system. When Anne has spare time she loves to cook and dine out in restaurants all over Sydney! Anne loves to spoil her team members with treats and yummy baked goods! Safe to say that Anne is a keeper and a huge asset to Club Central! 17.01.2022 Get to know our Club Central team: Alex Executive Manager Commercial Alexandra has an established international career in management and business development in the event industry, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to lead the events team. Alexandra has organised and executed corporate, social, and large-scale sports events in seven different countries. She is dedicated to her clients and committed to creating unique and memorable experiences at Club Central.... Not only will Alex be overseeing Club Central Events, her future commercial role will include opening and running the rooftop restaurant/lounge as part of our new renovations. Alexandra’s experience is complimented by her extensive tertiary education consisting of a Bachelor of Event Management, Bachelor in Marketing and a Masters of Business Administration. 16.01.2022 It’s your last chance to get involved in the Sutherland Shire Community Co-Op at Club Central Menai. During the month of September, Club Central is a collection point for One Meal Sutherland Shire Community Co-Op. We need your HELP! We’re asking everyone to donate non-perishable food and/or general cleaning products. The impact of COVID-19 has challenged us all, but is taking an enormous toll on those who were struggling before the pandemic hit. Your donations will be used... in the weekly hampers that they provide to families struggling in the Menai and Sutherland communities. Items that can be donated include; long life milk, cereal, muesli bars, coffee, canned soup and general cleaning products.

15.01.2022 Get to know our Club Central Team: Liz Relief Supervisor Liz is an extremely valuable part of the Club Central team. She is always willing to help her peers out and jump in wherever she is needed leading by example to everyone working with her. Before she began working with us, Liz used to visit Club Central Menai for dinner with her family. She’s also had her birthday parties with us and visited the old playroom. Now she has come full circle and is a regular MVP amongst... the awesome Club Central team. When Liz isn’t at work you’ll find her busy cooking in the kitchen, getting creative with resin and ink art through her online shop Your Arts Desire or at uni where she studies a Bachelor of Speech Pathology. Each week she also works as a therapy assistant which she finds very rewarding and is helping her build her experience ahead of graduating next year. Liz is an asset to Club Central and we are proud to have her on our team. 15.01.2022 We've got 60,000 reasons to celebrate today as we welcome our 60,000th Club Central member - Yi Wen! Yi Wen is from Surry Hills and is 85 years young. She was welcomed to the Club Central family by Illawarra Catholic Club Director, Phil Stanton at Hurstville this morning. We're so happy to welcome Yi Wen and celebrate this special milestone. 2020 has been a challenging year, but we thank all of our members for continuing to support us.

The good news is that the free Minifit Clinic with Roosters legend Anthony Minichiello on Friday 15 January is still going ahead the other news is that due to the current COVID restrictions on hospitality venues, we have moved the Minifit Clinics from Club Central Menai, right around the corner to Menai Indoor Sports Centre where there is plenty of space to get active. Minifit is operating under a COVID-safe plan and all parents of children atten...ding will need to check in via the Service NSW app with the QR code. Hand sanitiser will be provided. A reminder with all the details and the new location will be sent out prior to the clinic. There are still some places available and being active has never been more important, so if you’re interested then secure a spot and help your kids develop a passion and fun for fitness. Brian's family has had a long connection to the Club, with his father Tom one of our founding Directors and both Brian and his son working at the Club in Hurstville.
