06.01.2022 Community. Y'all...it's been an interesting last few weeks. Really high highs and really low lows, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. And the biggest lesson I ...keep learning through the waves is that we are not meant to go it alone. I'm so glad that I decided to reach out (eventually) during a "low" and not carry the heavy load all by myself. Phew!!! What a relief to share it with someone else. But this, this reaching out...it takes practice..a lot of practice. And this is why coming together is so important. When we come together, we can practice opening up. Being together reinforces the idea that we are not alone. Being together reminds us that we have common ground and that we can connect and we can focus more on our similarities than our differences. So if you want to be apart of some community this weekend, you are always welcome to join us. Even though we all have our own individual mats, we are coming together within the space to have a shared experience, to share our experience with others, and that is the magic. Being together has more of an impact than you might think.
