22.01.2022 I love it when our cleaners take before and after photos. This was a job we took on recently in Maylands and shows some excellent before and after photos from Rafaels first clean there. (It will continue to improve, the longer we work on it). As mentioned in an earlier email, I visited X earlier today. In my opinion, our apartment block looks to be very well cleaned. Can I ask that you thank our cleaning company for the extra service they are giving us during these strange times and could I ask that our appreciation be passed directly on to our dedicated cleaner, she is doing a very good job. 18.01.2022 Have you ever seen anything like this before? At one of the properties we clean, we have been inundated with an influx of worms into the lobby area. The gardeners believe it has been caused by the vibrations from nearby construction works, bringing the worms to the surface. They obviously feel safer indoors!

14.01.2022 Is inconsiderate parking a problem in your strata complex? If so, how do you deal with it? We recommend calling the Council rangers or arranging for a wheel-clamping company to implement strata policy. Offenders soon learn the price of being inconsiderate!

13.01.2022 Did you know that if your strata bins are overflowing, you can ask your strata manager to arrange for either extra bins, if there is room in your bin area, or extra collections, depending on the location? There is however an extra cost usually, but if its being caused by one particular tenant, such as a restaurant in a mixed residential/commercial complex, that cost may be able to be passed on to the tenant responsible.

08.01.2022 Did you know that your Council rubbish bins can be replaced or repaired free of charge? You just need to arrange a swap over with them and leave it on the verge. Ideally though, you can avoid damage in the first place by not putting prohibited items in there, like building rubble or excessively heavy objects.

04.01.2022 If you have suffered from having grafitti plastered over the walls of your strata complex, did you know that some Councils will remove it free of charge (or paint over it as a free service) - worth a call to find out :-)

02.01.2022 We had reports yesterday of people having items stolen from their cars. Its a common problem in strata complexes these days, just as it is out on the street. So dont let your guard down - dont leave valuables in your car and always lock things up. Its sad, but its the reality in a city these days!

01.01.2022 Is this kind of thing happening at your strata complex? Did you know that your Strata Managers can arrange for an extra bin or an increase in collections if storage is a problem? Of course it can also help if you can train your residents to put rubbish in the bins in a responsible manner. We often find that someone has stuffed a large item in the bottom of the bin and not broken it down properly, thus leading to an overflow. Could this be what they call GIGO? (garbage in, garbage out)
