21.01.2022 On behalf of Club Taree Snooker & Billiards Club we would like to pass on our deepest & sincere condolences to the families & friends of Terry . Being one of the founders of our Manning District Snooker Association & starting the annual Champion of Champions tournament which was a dual club tournament with both Taree & Wingham clubs involved in its original existence , we (local snooker players) owe a special thank you to Terry for the commitment of making tournaments that helped the game still exist in our local area decades later . * note Covid-19 restrictions are still impacting funeral numbers , we are hoping for those that wish to view the funeral that may not be able to attend , that a live-streaming link & details will be available & we’ll be able to share that in the coming days *

19.01.2022 Here’s a video we’ve made up to show how to look after your own table or share with your club on the best practices in trying to remain safer. Other measures sh...ould be 1) infra red temperature on entry 2)table cleaning for cushions, cloth, rests and balls (then ball cleaner) with a min 65% Isopropyl or 70%. 3) obviously wash hands thoroughly for 20 seconds plus 4) wipe hands with alcohol wipes regularly and try not to touch your face. Please Share with as many cue sport players do we can try and remain as safe as possible. Hope to see both World Snooker Tour or World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association give us any other advice for the sport we all love. (Sometimes anyway) Suppliers here in Australia for UVC lights that I used is https://www.uvcgermicidal.com.au - when using UVC lights you can’t be in the same room and the seller of the product should advise you of this. For isopropyl check around thoroughly on pricing and quality as some are 5 times dearer than others for the same products. 08.01.2022 Thank you all for your participation today I hope you enjoyed the day , with Barry Carlaw the winner ( who is exempt from next tournament but will have an opportunity to play fellow winners in a champions tournament some time next year ) also with David Bourne the runner up and couldn't find the form he had earlier in the day . Congrats to mark Pennings and Ron Vidler for being semifinalist but still in the cash . And of course some how myself snatched the high prize for the day .
