25.01.2022 For those members coming on the club trip to the Whitsundays in October. Whitehaven beach made it into the Top 10 beaches in the world in this article. But what I didn't know until reading the article is that Chalking beach (just opposite Whitehaven) has world class coral and some of the best coral snorkeling in the world. 02.01.2022 Hi everyone, The club is planning a trip to Peel Island on the 5th and 6th of December to keep that trip in December as planned on our calendar. More info will be out in the next couple of days as to what we have planned so keep that weekend free.... Whittley Christmas Function Thanks for the great turn out last weekend at Moreton Bay Boat Club for our annual Christmas function which we had approx 40 people attend. The food was great and plenty of door prizes and raffles to go around. Once again our 2020 awards went to the following boats. We have found a great anchorage for our over night stay with a nice grassy bank to enjoy a few sundowners around a camp fire. Bring your tenders and also some extra fuel for your tender engines. 01.01.2022 Photo's from the Richmond River cruise over the Labour Day Long weekend in May 4-6 2019. After launching in Ballina our first night was spent in Mobbs Bay. The second day we cruised up river to the township of Wardell for lunch, then onto Woodburn for an over night stay. Returning to Ballina the next day. A fun time was had by all who attended.
