15.01.2022 With one round to go, here’s where both teams stand: Division 2 will face Buninyong, their place in Division 2 locked in following Ballan’s loss today. Division 6 will play Bungaree, a win with 3 or 4 rinks will put us into the finals, although Central Wendouree play BMS. And with only one point separating 3rd and 4th we could sneak in should we lose anyhow... It’s all to play for next Saturday Josh

13.01.2022 Congratulations to Jenny Cameron who turned in an absolutely magnificent performance against Eileen Spong to win the Clunes Bowls Club Ladies President’s Handicap. Both ladies had to start at -10 and it was Jenny who had all the answers to win 25-9. Commiserations to Eileen, she threw everything at Jenny.

11.01.2022 ***BREAKING NEWS*** Next Saturday (23/1/2021) both Division 6 & Division 2 WILL BOTH PLAY AT HOME. It will start at 10am with Division 6 taking on Central Wendouree.... Then at 2PM Division 2 will play host to Bungaree.

10.01.2022 Mark Vorbach and Alan Carnegie started their Men’s Singles Final at 7PM. After trailing 14-2 early, Alan Carnegie somehow found something within himself and came back to not only draw level at 24 apiece but claim the deciding end to once again claim the Men’s Singles crown. Congratulations to both men on an absolute thriller, it was truly a joy to mark this match.

Christmas is a time for catching up with friends .Now that Covid 19 restrictions are lifting we can now all celebrate so why not come and join us for Christmas tea on the 19th at the Club rooms. I hope to see as many of our members there as possible but I know it's a busy time. It's $20 a head and our raffle will be drawn on the night please remember to get your book of tickets back to Linda or Sue. Name and payment for tea need to be on the list in the foyer by the 12th of December.
