23.01.2022 What a beautiful winters day it was today the sun was shining so time to take the parachute out. Red group shook the parachute to see how high the balls could go. We sang the boa constrictor song and we all took turns to run under the parachute, what a fun day.

23.01.2022 Just before lockdown Red group wore their pyjamas to kinder., We ate some yummy pancakes too. Thank you to everyone that donated money, the money is going to City mission to help the homeless.

21.01.2022 Who wants pizza? Red and green groups certainly do? The children helped knead The pizza dough and then put it to bed all snug and warm. We waited for it to rise, wow it doubled in size. The children all had a turn to roll out the dough and add some yummy pizza sauce and cheese. It was delish

17.01.2022 Blue group children did sensory play inside with ooshies. They were very excited when they saw some ooshies change colour with some drops of warm water. Through discussing the best way to "rescue" ooshies, we talked about how to turn ice into water.

I hope you have enjoyed the posts as much as I have enjoyed posting them. I would also like to thank all the parents and children who have joined Lori and myself on the zoom sessions they have been fun, thank you for all the lovely words from parents it has warmed my heart. I am looking forward in seeing all our lovely children back at kinder as of the week beginning the 5th October. In the meantime on behalf of my self and all the csk staff we wish u all a happy and safe break. Keep smiling. Carmela

08.01.2022 Both red and green groups enjoyed listening and discussing the book called The Colour Monster. The colour of the monster reflected how he was feeling. The children then drew faces and painted water colours on their own monster drawing. What a great job!!

08.01.2022 What do you get if you add bicarb soda, food colouring and vinegar together? Oh and add in a volcano.... thats right and explosion of lava. The children of Red and green groups loved this science experiment everyone helped to build the volcano, there was a lot of Amazed faces, not to mention the ohhhh and ahhhhh. Oops I forgot to mention the screams, sorry neighbours

06.01.2022 Does it really take much to put smiles on children’s faces and keep them busy. This activity was a hit with the four-year-old groups and always needed for some cups and some imagination. It was also fun knocking them down gently.
