11.01.2022 Does anyone have a cushing's, or suspected cushing's horse/pony that Leni can include in her research? She’s undertaking her PhD at Fed Uni and is looking for ponies, horses, donkeys that aren't being medicated for cushing's. Anything that was slow to shed it's winter coat or kept it over summer. They will have samples collected in April, July and October. 3 collections for each month, faecal, saliva and blood (only once in each month - total of 3 blood sampling for the year). Owners will be given all results [email protected] 0411 575 342

05.01.2022 Yesterday was a day to say "Thank you" to many people who enabled the Child's events to take place under exceptional circumstances at Werribee Park. To our va...lued sponsors, both big and small, our volunteers, the marshals, all of our wonderful judges, the measurers, the scribes, our traders and the food vans, the COVID officers, the maintenance personnel and the Werribee Park staff - we thank you all. Friday was a fantastic day, with some of the most beautiful Childs mounts taking to the arena. It was pleasing to see those competitors and those ready to compete on the weekend. Unfortunately that was not to occur. Everyone is disappointed and no one more then the Barastoc Committee. We understand the work that goes into preparation for a competition of this prestige. We can imagine the cheese and biscuits, the bubbles and ciders that are kept on ice, the picnics still packed in the trucks. We feel your pain. Rest easy subject to Government regulations there may be an opportunity to continue our show next weekend - however that decision will be made by the Government - not us! Please follow our updates and future plans on EV Showhorse website and on FB.
