19.01.2022 With the release tomorrow of new 8 x 8 albums in four new colours I would like to repost a shared post from Creative Life Scrapbooking. Tammy McEwen made up a cutting guide and instructional video to complete an 8x8 album easily with one of Creative Memories Theme packs. I have made up the instructions with a Tis the season Christmas Theme pack. It was easy and a fun way to complete an album ready for a gift. 8x8 Albums are available again from tomorrow to October 20. There are 19 different Theme Packs available at the moment. 14.01.2022 This page is made using up the little scraps of other pages. I love that patchwork patterns can be turned into paper pieces for scrapbooking. I used the new Hello, Autumn Journalling Template to stencil quickly the ornate corners with the bold tip of our dual tip black pen. Stitching and fine lines are completed with the fine tip of the same pen. The Hello Autumn designer papers are so popular they are temporarily out of stock, due to return in October. Any scraps could be used to complete a page, just like patch working!

06.01.2022 Inspired by a quilt pattern I found on Pinterest I have been playing with cutting Chevrons for Patchwork Star Pages. It took a little bit of maths and fractions to work out sizing. This was my first try using the exclusive Pinapples and Palms Paper Pack. Photos were of Pinapples growing at the lost gardens of Heligan in Cornwall England. 04.01.2022 It’s been 20 years since the Sydney Olympics and the Olympic torch relay prior to it. Looking back on album pages made back then reminds me how good our Creative Memories products are. My style may have changed, and we now have a lot more variety of product. The pages below contain lots of memorabilia, headbands worn, flag waved and newspaper articles relevant to our area. The pages are still just as I made them, bright, stuck in place, fantastic!

01.01.2022 Today I joined in a virtual crop with Karyn McDermaid-Rolfe at Karyn’s Croppers on Facebook. This was a zoom class with Karyn demonstrating her techniques and tips to complete a page using the latest Apple Recipe Template. It was fun and informative! This is the double page layout I completed using Hello Autumn collection, the Apple Recipe Template and Lace Trim Border Punch. I was completely out of the letter ‘e’ so had to make do!
