18.01.2022 I am tired! Charlize has been soooo clingy as of late. Oh my goodness. If someone else is holding her and she sees me she automatically cries! Last night was the first night she didn't want to sleep on her own unless she was on top of me! Granted she does have a very slight runny nose, but wow I'm dying with this clinginess. So hard to get anything done. I used to have that leap app (forgot what it was called). Can someone tells me what happens around 6 months! Why have I all of a sudden got a stage 5 clinger? Is it the runny nose? Or am I going through a leap here! Help me! Outfit @mon_bou

17.01.2022 Don't let this beautiful face fool you. I don't know why this kid hates me between the hours of 4-7pm. She just cries & cries (unless you're holding her of course!). Yesterday she cried when I left the factory to pick up Cassia (15 minutes in the car loosing her mind). I had to get her out settle her down, back in the car (lost the plot again), got home cried for an hour & a half straight (holding her or not). Finally got her to sleep & I had peace for half an hour & when she woke Maurice got hm at 7.45pm NOT ONE SINGLE TEAR. Not even one.

15.01.2022 It was like the universe knew Cassia needed a new drink bottle. Within the space of a week her two drink bottles she used before this one lost the plot. One of them now leaks everywhere because the seal decided it didn't want to stay in place any longer & the other one she dropped which resulted in the lid splitting in two so you can't close it anymore. Thankfully she has her newbie! She's so much like me (although looks like her Dad) it's funny, she LOVES ice cold water. It doesn't matter how cold it is outside she loves icey water (as do i!) & our double walled insulated drink bottles means I can put ice in it and it'll stay in there for hours & keeps the water really cold winning!

14.01.2022 So many people ask me for my daily routine with the girls so here it is: My day never really 'finishes' with 3 hour nightly feeds with Charlize. By 5am I'm up doing work on my phone until 7am. I wake the girls at 7am to start getting ready. I drop Cassia off to my Parents or her Aunty & Uncle's by 7.45-8. At the factory by 8.15am. Charlize plays in her bouncer until about 9. She will have a play, a feed & then goes down for her first nap (this is my favourite nap ) she will... usually sleep until 11.30-12 so I get a big chunk of work done. 12 I'll have something to eat quickly & then Charlize will have some time on the floor or in the bouncer. If she isn't cooperating Maurice will put her in the carrier until she falls asleep again & we will put her down! Another big chunk of work until 3. I'll pop mobiles on frames until 4 & reply to as many people as I can. By 3.30 Charlize starts the standard 4pm-7.30pm crying. So I'll start packing up by 4.30. I'll go get Cassia (usually with Charlize screaming in the car because she hates life at this time). Get home, cook dinner with Cassia telling me she's hungry & Charlize crying. 7.30-8pm Maurice comes home. By this time I'm mentally cooked from listening to crying for three hours straight while trying to cook. Maurice will usually wash up or I will well he's playing with the girls. 7.30/8pm I'll jump in the shower with the girls, Maurice will pull them out & dry and dress them. By 8.30 Charlize is asleep. 9.30 we are all in bed! Charlize wakes up at 12.30 for her first feed, 3.30 for her second and 5.30 for her third. Then I'll give her another feed at 7.30 before I leave! While I'm awake during the night I'll always reply to inboxes so if you get replies around those times from me I'm feeding or I'll do product research, write ups & the list is endless - I do some of my best work at these rediculous hours because the girls are asleep & that's it, that's my day. Day in and day out. On the days I have Cassia with me too it's a whole different ball game. 04.01.2022 This week I came to the realisation that poor Charlize looks like she has my skin. When I say to you I'm white, I'm usually beyond white. Almost grey. It's amazing. My parents who we established a few days ago were born in Italy decided too make my brother & sister with beautiful dark skin but me I was hit with the fair skin stick. This photo came up as a memory from what feels like a million years ago (8 years I think it was) I had just come back from being in America for 2 ...months in the peak of summer then I ended up in Port Douglass for my cousins wedding. This was the first & only time I loved my skin colour. It took me 3 months to get a tan like this but this is proof for Charlize that it can happen it'll just take 3 months. 01.01.2022 Two Years ago Maurice & I took the first big leap in our business & rented our own warehouse space! It was a new (ongoing) expense at the time, but we knew we wanted to expand CMC Gold, hire staff & get more machinery & our house was overrun with all things CMC. We had a UV printer in our lounge room for gods sake because we ran out of space in the rest of the house. It was a crazy time! Tomorrow morning is handover day for our new space. We've grown more than we could have e...ver imagined in such a short time. The first two years of our business we worked 7 days a week from our garage & home, two years on we employee staff, run numerous machines & have over 50 products.
