This is a 3 a side competition.... We will also have our first workshop in this program on Friday. With Senior Constable Gabriella from the Lidcombe PCYC talking about her programs and the role of a YLO.

15.01.2022 Hi All, Come celebrate the Rugby League Grand Final Long W/E early with an indoor touch footie game at Berala Community Centre. This coming Friday the 28th of September we will be running our first Indoor Touch Football competition at BCC.... This is a 3 a side competition. Woke up to ABC News Breakfast this morning on TV with this latest news... http://www.theage.com.au//urgent-rethinking-of-education-n 'Urgent rethinking of education' needed for jobs in 2030 "As technology and artificial intelligence take over manual tasks, people will spend nearly 100 per cent more time in their work week solving problems, 77 per cent more time using maths and science skills and 41 per cent more time on critical thinking, according to the Foundation for Young Australians' (FYA) latest New Work Order report." "The report found that 70 per cent of people are currently entering jobs that will be "highly affected by automation" and 60 per cent of vocational education students are training for these roles." 09.01.2022 Hi All, With the impending reconstruction of Granville Youth Centre. The CMCS Youth Team is moving our Friday afternoon programs to Berala Community Centre from September. So this Friday the 31st of August is our FINAL last Friday of the month OZ tag competition at Granville Youth Centre.... 09.01.2022 Hi All Last week at Merrylands Youth Centre we started a program to support young people between the ages of 15-24 who have concerns about the amount of betting they do. We have spaces left for those who want to drop by and check out the program. If interested give one of the workers a call that’s on the flyer, or just turn up to Merrylands Youth Centre on Thursday night. The program goes from 5:30pm-7:00pm and I do provide transport for those who need a ride home afterwards.... 05.01.2022 Hi All On the 25th of May the World Health Organisation classified "gaming disorder" as a behavioural addiction, so making it no different to AOD addiction as a problem for young people that we support in our organisations. The Unplug and Play is a 6 week pilot diversion program designed by Catholic Care’s Gambling Help Counsellor commencing on the 24th of October at Merrylands Youth Centre .... This program is being delivered in partnership by Merrylands Youth Centre (MYC), Catholic Care and Cumberland Multicultural Community Services (CMCS). With the impending construction of the new Community Centre at Granville we will transfer the Monday Homework program from Granville Youth Centre to Granville Library. As of the beginning of this month the renamed CMCS Youth Team is now running its Drop-In program at Berala Community Centre. We've started of small, "but from little things big things grow" So come along and join in the fun, creating a new youth service at Berala
