15.01.2022 So after our @woolworths_au #Ooshie craze I was scrounging for #Glowies. Well atleast that's what I call them! I made a #lostinspace #lampshade with glowies, a silver Christmas wreath, mini silver #discoballs from @shiploads silver Christmas baubles and cotton string. I manipulated an old insert from one of those paper globe shaped lampshades, to attach it to the light. It's fair to say I was the #superhero of the day! ....... 08.01.2022 Wow 5 years ago! 1 year before my life hit "ground zero". 1 year later I opened Craft My Life. But my head was not ready to do Craft My Life justice. Now 3 years on since I opened Craft My Life, now my head is ready. My frantically disordered head has worked hard on the trauma recovery and I'm so excited about what's all coming into place now. Im still doing lots of work in the background, but stick with me there will be more fun to come soon!

06.01.2022 I thought I'd share my poppy rock I made last year, seeing as its coming up to remembrance day. I originally made it for my grandmother, but she lives in South Africa, sadly I've decided I won't be going back to visit. The postage there is diabolical, I've sent so many parcels that never made it. I stopped sending letters and presents well over 10 years ago. So i have just hung on to it. She is 94, she was born in London and grew up in West Hampstead, family correct me if I...'m wrong. During the London Bombings she was sent to the country side for safety. She lost her childhood sweetheart during the war, it devestated her. Later she met my grandfather Basil, he was training to be a pilot, but received an eye injury and could not defend the country. They later sailed to Cape Town after my grandfather was head hunted by JCI or Johannesburg Consolidated Investment Co. Ltd. I know she'd love this rock, I think I really should courier it to her. 01.01.2022 We love bees at Craft My Life! I used to paint "Save the Bees" rocks with the kids at Trevallyn Primary School every Monday lunch break. This was pre COVID ofcourse! It was my favourite hour of every week. I can get away with saying that because my kids often joined in too.... I'll have to start painting some bee rocks again and dropping them around Launceston. I also love leaving things at my front gate for the school kids to play with. Like my water play garden. Soon I will be setting up a toy library there. Giving to the community is something thats very important to me. Its such a good way to create a happy and healthy community and to be honest it feeds my soul so much, I get far more from it than what I put out.
