17.01.2022 Last nights official photo's from IRFF's MSA Race at Long Beach

16.01.2022 Last night saw the 1st Round of the AMF GT3 Development Series at Silverstone. Team CMSR had to make a few late changes to the line up for tonight's race due to circumstances beyond our control. Bruce Did not race as he replaced Ryan Kolstad as race director for the main event. Ryan Schweitzer also could not make tonight's race due to family commitments... Nathan well lets face it he was just off playing with the other boys at Sandown, and due to being on a plane flying home at the time of the race he seemed to complain he had no internet connection. (excuses, excuses) Now back to the team members that could race, Sam Ross # 555 Sal Gallenti #022 Justin Cotterill #10 Sal was the best of the qualifiers starting from 13th on the grid, Pretty much a clean race for him pushing he's way through the field with very little issues in the Audi R8 to come home in 5th. Sal due to a late change of cars from the BMW to the Audi meant that the team did not have time to finish the paint on he's number 1 car so it was decided to run the backup car for this round. The guys in the paint shop are working hard to finish the paint for the next round, so look out for the CMSR Audi next race. Sam started 15th in the BMW starting in the mid pack first race he was always going to have he's hands full on the start line and sure enough mid race he was in an intense battle in which evidently came into contact with another car causing slight damage and a spin. Luckily the car pulled up before the wall and he was able to battle on. This contact came at a cost though forcing him down the field, As Sam always does he said a few choice words and soldiered on making a exceptional come back to bring the BMW home in 8th Justin Started 39th in which it seemed like he was just not able to get a handle on tonight's track conditions, A couple of spins and a few small errors were made but he still managed to keep it on track and running home in 29th outright. We certainly were concerned with Justin's approach asking question like do i need fuel and how do i protest due to not having a working microphone. But all that aside the head went down and the bum went up and he pushed on, nice Job Justin.. I would like to thank all the team drivers and fingers crossed CMSR will have the full 6 cars on track next week with the Audi having it's team paint finished. Also big thank you to AMF for putting on this series, Ryan Kolstad and Justin Cotterill have worked exceptionally hard to put this series together. Thank You guys from Team CMSR

06.01.2022 Last Sunday saw the first round of the 2017 IMSA GT Championship at Daytona International Raceway. Team CMSR were well represented with 4 entries into this league. All teams decided on running the Ford GT after extensive testing of both the Ferrari and the Ford GT. Team CMSR got in plenty of practice before the race trying to learn and understand the setup features of this new car only introduced into the Iracing family 1 week before the start of the season. This League has b...een equipped with some of the best online GT drivers in Australia which made for really good clean racing, Lap times in race trim were nearly as quick as qualifying times. Team CMSR 1 ( Sam Ross & Sal Gallenti) had the best qualifying result starting in 16th in the field 33 cars, Unfortunately Sam had a early misfortune causing damage which needed to be sorted out dropping them to the rear of the field. After that Sam and Sal pushed hard to recover and managed to work their way back through the field to finish in 20th position. Team CMSR 2 ( Nathan Anderson & Dean Ross) Qualified in 18th and pretty much had a trouble free run up until the pit stop, where Nathan shot past the pit bay requiring him to reverse and straighten up the car which cost the time he had accumulated in the first halve of the race. Dean jumped in and drove the car straight allowing team CMSR 2 to finish the race in 18th position the best of all the CMSR teams, Great drive by both drivers. Team CMSR 3 ( Bruce Ross & Ryan Kolstad) Qualified in 27th position with just a banker lap qualifying, allowing Ryan to run some practice laps on the race setup. Bruce Started the race and drove the car straight pushing out consistent lap times before handing the car over to Ryan who after a few settling in laps got comfortable enough with the car to bring the lap times down and eventually posting the fastest lap time for the team. Team CMSR 3 finished in 19th position, improving on their qualifying position by 8 positions. Team CMSR 4 (Justin Cotterill & Vincent Skilbeck) Qualified in 32nd Justin started the race, In the sexy orange Ford GT Justin was in the thick of things starting from the near end of the field, but still managed to keep it straight and bring in in for Vincent at the cars fuel limit, Vincent managed to also drive it straight and not occurring any server dropouts which has plagued him lately in several other races. Team CMSR 4 finished in 28th.

04.01.2022 Team CMSR achieved a first for the season in last nights OSR V8 Development series at Okayama International Circuit. All 6 team cars qualified in the top split in the series, It was a great achievement by all drivers. Round 9 Qualifying results, Sal Gallenti - 15th... Sam Ross - 16th Nathan Anderson - 19th Dean Ross - 29th Ryan Kolstad - 34th Bruce Ross - 38th Round 9 Race Results, Sal Gallenti - 7th Sam Ross - 13th Nathan Anderson - 17th Dean Ross - 21st Bruce Ross - 30th Ryan Kolstad - 32nd It was a full field of 46 cars on a small track, Thinking this might cause some congestion problems all drivers approached the first few laps very cautiously. The race turned out to be a very clean and close race up the front. Ryan had a small mishap on the first corner locking a brake and getting enough damage that required early pit stop dropping him to the rear of the field. He recovered and managed to complete the 26 laps on one set of tyres. Dean also had a small mishap at the first hairpin where he ventured off track due to being caught out by a early braking car causing him to take evasive action. To he's credit he missed everything on track and the wall dropping him right back in the pack only to fight back and regain a heap of positions. Sal and Sam, also had a heart stopping moment on the first lap coming into light contact with each other at the second corner. Both made it threw with no damage and it did not effect either of their cars. Nathan and Bruce had a relativity uneventful race with both drivers staying out of trouble and finishing the 26 laps with no damage and 1 off track each.
