21.01.2022 New Release No 2. SMMOMS The Best Of 1995 3 Action-Packed Rounds From A Magic Season... THE 1995 Australian Touring Car Championship was a classic Ford versus Holden V8 battle and, on this special Seven Sport’s Magic Moments of Motorsport DVD release, we take a look back at some of the best races from that year’s title fight. We’ve collected three stand-out rounds of the 1995 ATCC as the V8 stars slam panels, trade paint and get stuck right into one another! The first round is the Sandown season-opener that marked the championship debut of the new model VR Commodore and EF Falcon. Wet weather couldn’t damper the enthusiasm of the fans as Larry Perkins claimed just his second-ever ATCC round win after a titanic tussle with Shell ace John Bowe. Then we take in the Round 8 of the ’95 title chase at Mallala in South Australia. Reigning champion Glenn Seton was coming home with a wet sail in the latter part of the series and his Falcon was the class of the field but watch for a huge fightback drive from Holden hero Peter Brock! To round out this release we have also included Round 9 at Barbagallo Raceway in Western Australia. The championship was up for grabs and tensions were high with eventual champion Bowe right in the thick of the action as Seton and Brock tried to claw back vital points on the title-leading Shell-FAI Ford! As an added bonus we’ve included where possible - all of the action filmed during the commercial breaks of the period, so you don’t miss a second of these important races from Australian touring car history! This DVD is a must-have for your collection of Seven Sport Magic Moments of Motorsport titles, celebrating the classic Ford versus Holden battles that have underpinned Australian motorsport history. Visit www.cmsmotorsport.com.au

18.01.2022 Just posted our September new release which you can purchase now. Simply visit www.cmsmotorsport.com.au We should pick up our stocks on Friday. SMMOMS Sensational Sierras Three Classic Wins By The Flying Fords... THE Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth was one of the most dominant cars seen in the Group A touring car era of the 1980s and 1990s and, on this special Seven Sport’s Magic Moments of Motorsport DVD release, we celebrate the powerful turbocharged ‘pocket rockets. We’ve selected three rounds from the Seven Sport vault dominated by the mighty Sierras, one each from the 1988, 1989 and 1990 Australian Touring Car Championships when they were at their most dominant. The first is the penultimate round of the ’88 championship at the now defunct Amaroo Park in Sydney. It’s a race that showed the sheer domination that season of the Shell Sierras of Dick Johnson and his new teammate John Bowe as a 25-car field tackles the 70 lap-race. The second race on this release is the second round of the 1989 ATCC from Symmons Plains in Tasmania with Sierras making up 11 of the 21 cars in the field. All of the big names are in the turbo Fords Johnson, Bowe, Glenn Seton, Colin Bond, Allan Moffat, Tony Longhurst and even Peter Brock, who had moved across from racing BMWs in the off-season and was more than a match for the Sierra regulars in this race. And we round out this DVD with the penultimate round of the 1990 ATCC from Wanneroo in Western Australia. By then Brock’s Mobil Sierra was one of the fastest in the field and he led every all 45 laps to claim a dominant win. As an added bonus we’ve included where possible - all of the action filmed during the commercial breaks of the period, so you don’t miss a second of these important races from Australian touring car history! This DVD is a must-have for your collection of Seven Sport Magic Moments of Motorsport titles, celebrating one of the really memorable cars of the 80s and 90s.

Castrol ace Larry Perkins and the late Gregg Hansford engaged in an all-day battle with the Gibson Motorsport-run Commodore of Mark Skaife and Jim Richards, the result seeing ‘LP’ claim his first of three Bathurst wins as owner/driver. The victory also marked a significant event in Bathurst 1000 history it was the last time a Holden V8 powered a Commodore to the win in Australia’s ‘Great Race’. 05.01.2022 We are taking pre-orders for August releases visit www.cmsmotorsport.com.au first up... Bathurst 1992 Tooheys 1000 Nissan’s Godzilla Conquers The Mountain THE 1992 Tooheys 1000 at Mount Panorama, Bathurst remains a special race in the history of ‘The Great Race’ with the full Seven Sport race day telecast released here for the first time as part of the popular Seven Sport’s Magic Moments of Motorsport DVD series.... The 1992 race was the 30th running of the annual October classic and marked the final Bathurst for the turbocharged Nissan GT-Rs dubbed ‘Godzilla’ and the long-serving Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth, as Australia prepared to move to an all-V8 Holden and Ford formula for the following year. This race gave fans a view to the future with four of the new winged cars entered three Commodores (two from the Holden Racing Team and one from Peter Brock’s Mobil team) and a sold Ford Falcon V8 run by Glenn Seton’s team. It marked the first Falcon V8 to compete in a Bathurst 1000 in eight years! But this race was all about the wet weather and controversial ending that saw winner Jim Richards give the fans a huge verbal spray during the podium presentation, one that has become part of Mount Panorama folklore! He and Mark Skaife came out victorious on a wild and wet day on the Mountain, a day also marked with sadness given the passing (due to a heart attack) of 1967 Formula 1 World Champion Denny Hulme mid-race while at the wheel of a BMW M3. Included on this release is the full race day telecast, including the pre-race festivities, highlights of the Tooheys Top 10 Shootout, the pit stop competition and then the ‘main course’, the 161-lap Mountain classic. This release also includes a range of unseen vision too. We have included on this DVD the race action that unfolded while television viewers of the day were busy watching commercials! This DVD is a must-have for your collection of Seven Sport Magic Moments of Motorsport titles, celebrating a brilliant era of racing at Bathurst.

After years of various manufacturers under international Group A rules, Australia opted to go ‘back to the future’ in 1993 with a rulebook underpinned by Falcon and Commodores V8s going head-to-head. We’ve collected three classic rounds of the Australian Touring Car Championship from this period as some of the biggest starts in motorsport slam panels, trade paint and get stuck right into one another! First up is Round 4 of the 1993 ATCC from Lakeside in Queensland where the roaring Fords of Alan Jones, Glenn Seton, John Bowe and Dick Johnson head the field in a pair of 28-lap contests. Then we take in Round 4 of the 1994 ATCC from Phillip Island where wet weather caused chaos in Mark Skaife’s bid to win the first four rounds of that season in a row and reigning champion Seton ended up with the overall on a wild day of racing. Finally, we also include the action from Round 7 of the 1995 ATCC at Eastern Creek in Sydney with Bowe, Seton, Jones, Skaife and Peter Brock vying with 21 other drivers for crucial championship points. As an added bonus we’ve included where possible - all of the action filmed during the commercial breaks of the period, so you don’t miss a second of these important races from Australian touring car history!
