24.01.2022 Another example of lazy electricians carrying out unsafe work.

23.01.2022 Other local refrigeration mechanics knocked back this job and said it was too old to repair and just wanted to sell this client a complete new air conditioner. After 3 hours work and a bit of old fashioned know how, I have removed the leaking service valves and it's up and running again.

19.01.2022 Called out to this air conditioner that struggles in hot weather. Upon walking up to this outdoor unit, it is obvious the problem is the outdoor unit recycling it's own hot air.

16.01.2022 This ducted air conditioner had really bad low airflow issues. Cleaning the dirty filter made minimal difference, but when I got up into the roof I found this crushed return air duct that was the issue. Sadly, this is another example of poor installation planning. Take note of the timbers sandwiching the duct work.

16.01.2022 Went to turn off the power to repair a clients air conditioner. Don't know what to say about what I saw when opening this switchboard, but had a good laugh anyway.

16.01.2022 Example of dangerous wiring as found on a recent job whilst trying to fault find in a ceiling space. Clearly an installation fault due to laziness but, potentially deadly. I feel sorry for the client who was unaware of the dangerous wiring, but I had to legally report this to the OTR via an ECOC for urgent repair by an A class Electrician.

05.01.2022 Circuit breaker just hanging in outdoor unit of this air conditioner. It should be fastened in place securely.

04.01.2022 How nobody ever got electrocuted from this dangerous mobile coolroom is beyond me. It was sent to me to work out why it wasn't cooling. Out of gas was the issue but, the list of electrical defects was a long one.

04.01.2022 Typical Saturday morning removing gas from old air conditioners in preparation for recycling and scraping.
