17.01.2022 Although sometimes our photos suggest otherwise, a modern Registered Surveyor’s role requires much more than just looking through a telescope or holding a pole.... One of our Registered Surveyors, Chris Larmour, snapped this photo recently from Land Registry Services new offices on Level 30, 175 Liverpool Street while he was there to uplift and amend a dealing associated with a new Strata plan he’s working on. #LRS #LRSNSW #cadastre #cadastral #registeredsurveyor #CMSSurveyors #acsnsw See more

13.01.2022 Only 2 weeks to go until the restart of the Lifeline Classic Surf Comp at Queenscliff Beach. CMS have entered a Team and are furiously raising funds for Lifelin...e Northern Beaches. If you can spare a dollar or 2 to help us reach our target of $5000, that would be awesome. CMS are passionate supporters of the services that Lifeline offer to those in need. Lifeline Northern Beaches provides crisis support and suicide prevention services and their aim for this event is to raise $100,000 which translates to 6,600 calls answered and 1,000 counselling sessions. CMS Surveyors entered to support this great initiative and because every year 190 Australians working in the construction industry take their own lives, this means we lose a construction worker every second day to suicide. 04.01.2022 SYDNEY METRO NORTH WEST - AN SBS DOCUMENTARY CMS Surveyors were proud to have played a part in the massive project that is Sydney Metro Northwest currently bein...g featured on TV in SBS’s four-part series Sydney’s Super Tunnel. Our involvement started way back in mid-2016 when our friends at S&L Steel engaged us to assist with checking two steel bridge pylons they were constructing in their warehouse at Glendenning. These two huge steel structures would eventually become the main supports for Australia’s first cable-stayed curved rail bridge and are now a landmark feature over Windsor Road at Rouse Hill. CMS Surveyors combined laser-scanning technology with in-house developed software and virtual surveying techniques to create as-built drawings; verifying that the construction was in tolerance with the design. In 2017, CMS Surveyors won the Extra Dimension category at the Excellence in Surveying and Spatial Information Awards for our involvement in the project. You can watch all four parts in full on SBS OnDemand https://lnkd.in/gDSmuWT until November 8th. Keep an eye out for Chris’s appearance 17 minutes into the 4th episode! See more
