22.01.2022 Wow 371 tickets sold so far! Lets hit that magical 400 number! *Future Raffle for a Fighting Cause ** This month we are going to do our raffle a bit differently. ... Just recently, club members Craig and Jess Alexander received life changing news, their 3 year old daughter Charlotte was diagnosed with Childhood Cancer. Charlotte is currently being treated at the Royal Childrens Hospital. She is taking every day in her stride and showing everyone just how strong she is, typically with a beautiful smile on her face. This battle is going to last for quite some time. To help raise much needed support for the family we have increased the number of tickets available from 100 to 300 (maybe more, depending on demand) The proceeds will be divided between the raffle winners and supporting Jess, Craig and Charlotte throughout this journey and a well-deserved holiday when she kicks cancer's ass. 21.01.2022 The knights were finally back in action on Saturday taking away 2 wins out 4 The ones help their nerve to win by 3 runs in the last over thanks to some great death bowling by all the bowlers particularly Archie and Obee. The knights posted a great score first up thanks to a classy knock from sugar 60 and a few of the middle order bats batting around him to help us post 213 The seconds had a disappointing game with the bat, but set a standard with the ball thanks to a Cody And...rews 4fa The 3rds who consist of the premiership shipping winning 4s players continued their winnings ways with a dominate performance thanks to handy contributions from many players The 4ths led by Hendo saw many new players don the maroon for the first time. A terrific start with the bat by Hendo and snooks but unfortunately quick succession of wickets saw the knights only manage 138 which baysy park chased 5 down with a couple of new knights taking their first wicket for the club #GoKnights

20.01.2022 **Attention Players** Hi All, Exciting news over the last couple of days with restrictions easing. Most exciting is that we are now able to start training and playing cricket!! For us to train and play there are a number of rules, to make it easier for everyone i'm scheduled a zoom meeting on Thursday Night at 7:30. In this meeting we'll run through the requirements, training days etc. ... Pending council approving our COVID safe plans we're looking at starting training on Monday the 2nd of November (due to Melbourne Cup day on Tuesday) before riveting back to our normal Tuesday / Thursday model. If you haven't heard the season is looking to kick off on the 14th of November. 14.01.2022 Hope you are all well! As part of the Covid-19 Return to Train & Play we need to appoint several Covid Officers to oversee that Covid Safety protocols are being met at the club. We need as many players, volunteers and coaches as possible to complete the Government covid-19 training online. https://covid-19training.gov.au/dashboard/ It takes approximately 15 minutes and is pretty straightforward.... We will need a number of players in each team with this training, to ensure we get the ok to commence this season. 06.01.2022 Croydon North Cricket Club would like to announce the signing of Dulan Berman for the upcoming season Dulan joins us after a 2 year stint at Chirnside Park. Dulan, a middle order right-handed bat scored 395 runs @ 30.38 last season to back up his 2018/19 season with 501 runs @29.45. His 896 runs includes 1 hundred and 6 50s Dulan is also a handy left arm bowler... Dulan now enters his 5th season Down Under, previously being a member at Port Melbourne cc And Upper Beaconsfield cc. We are thrilled to have Dulan become a knight. We welcome him and his wife Pavani to the fortress #GoKnights
