06.01.2022 In order to support the Himalayan Business Group - International Student support Campaign, Canberra Nepalese Cricket Clubs former captain Ashish Devkota has donated a cricket bat which shall be on auction from $120 as starting price. The allocated funds shall be contributed towards the total funds raised by the club to support the campaign. Requesting all to participate in the Nobel cause. 01.01.2022 CNCC Player, Supporters and Well-wishers, CCSCA season 2020-21 will be back in action from tomorrow after a break for holiday season. CNCC has had mixed results in the first half of the season. CNCC is placed 7th out of 8 teams in Grade 1 league ladder not the ideal position that is expected. However, we are getting the momentum back as demonstrated by some brilliant individual milestones by CNCC Players. Some of them being: Our captain Ashish Devkota is currently the h...ighest run (121) scorer in an inning and second highest aggregate run scorer for the season so far. He features 3 times in Batting Hall of Fame with 1 hundred and 2 fifties under his belt list limited to only 25 entries till now. Our Vice-Captain Binaya Karki is another star performer. He is so far the highest aggregate wicket taker of the season with 20 wickets under his belt with 2 five-fors. Binay features twice in Balling hall of fame for his 2 five-fors so far in the season list that is limited to only 10 entries till now. Even better is three of our players are within the contention of Champion Player of the season: Binay on 2nd position, Ashish in 5th position and Khitiz in 11th position. To a concluding note, CNCC will be back in action against our own BNCC tomorrow at Lyneham 209, Cnr of Nortbourne Av & Mouat St LYNEHAM , ACT 2602. It will be a cracker of a game.
