25.01.2022 #whataweekwednesday We are only up to Wednesday and it has already been a hectic week here. Three day booking in Boardroom 1 with GBRMPA teams from Townsville and Cairns.... Three day booking for a consultancy group in Training Room 1, today through to Friday. We have a Virtual member coming in for a Hot Desk on Thursday and Friday. There have also been two or three enquiries either for booking space or for membership which is incredibly exciting. Hell one of our members showed a local real estate agent through who was so impressed with our space they reached out to one of their contacts to get in touch with us regarding space. And still it is only Wednesday...

22.01.2022 This has been a massive week once again at Co. Habitat Co-Working Space. With multiple enquiries for Office Space, we have shown two businesses through that look incredibly positive at coming on board. We also have a Hot Desker looking at coming on board as a Multi-Day Membership. There was also a phone call from an Adelaide business that is looking for space for about 6 months starting in January. We are showing them through next Wednesday or Thursday. ... We hosted two workshops, one by The Pink Tribe by Amanda Carr and the other by Townsville Scoop. Both were an incredible success and we look forward to more workshops being run in our boardrooms and training spaces. Today we have @JESIJourneyManagement hosting a morning tea and lunch in the space today. These guys recently received a big boost in funding which is extremely exciting and allows this wonderful Townsville startup to continue to grow. Head to their socials to see more details about what has been going on. That may be everything, it is seriously getting harder and harder to keep up with it all.

21.01.2022 The Podcasting Room has taken a giant leap forward today. Noise suppression foam has been installed along the first wall, still three to go but already making a huge difference. We also picked up our RØDE Microphones PSA1 mic booms and HOT DAMN they look good. Thanks for hooking us up Garricks Camera House Townsville.... Keep watching this space because something huge is coming when his room goes live.

17.01.2022 Well that is exiting... And fast. Today we sold our first piece of art, this gorgeous Mandala by @fiolawilliamsart. Our goal is to provide a space for local artists to display their work, avidly selling them is simply a bonus.

Habitat is excited to announce we have a new member coming on board at the start of September. This will be our second Semi-Private Office member. ... 16.01.2022 I did a video, Greg from Tropical Coast Web Design did the website, Phil from Phil Copp Photos took the photos. We are super excited by the launch of our new website thanks to the efforts of Greg. He has dealt with my incessant emails, back and forth and all ours of the day. 07.01.2022 A couple of weeks ago we said a new member had come on board, we had to wait for the internal memos to go round before we could share any more details though. Today Co. Habitat is excited to announce Lidiar Group is our newest member and second to take up a Semi-Private Office. Ben from Lidiar Group will officially be joining us from 1/09. We are looking forward to another face in the office and further activity.... Lidiar Group is a project management services. The team is made up of a collective of key individuals across a diverse range of management, professional and engineering backgrounds offering project management and support services in the energy, infrastructure and resources sectors.

06.01.2022 What a week it has been. 3 new enquires (just on Thursday) 1 booking in Video Conferencing Room (for October) Multiple visitors to show through the office space... Confirmation new members moving in Monday Locked in standing booking for fortnightly club meeting in the Board room (starting in about 6 months) Several phone calls and follow ups. We are really excited about everything going on here at the moment and look forward to continuing this momentum.

03.01.2022 We know Virtual Conferences are currently the norm, and who knows, maybe they will continue post Covid, as businesses learn new ways to harness technology. Last month The Australian Academy of Orofacial Myology ran a 4 day virtual conference from our #videoconferencing room. What we learnt from this was the ability to sit or stand as needed was important. This month, when they ran another 4 day conference we had a Sit-to-stand desk available for their use.... This now lives in the room to meet your conferencing needs.

02.01.2022 It is just after 9:00am Monday16/11. We have already been at the office for 2 hours. In that time we have:... Got Queensland Corrective Services set up in our conference room...they will be here for the next three weeks. Set up Boardroom 1 for GP One Consulting who will be in for the day. Picked the Meeting Room lock our cleaners accidentally locked without a key. Had someone set up at a Hot Desk. Signed over keys for Office 11 and 13 to CheckUP Australia who officially move in today. Already I have clocked up 6.6km. All before 9am.

02.01.2022 Have just spent time talking all things Townsville business with Julie from BDmag. It was Julie's first visit to Co. Habitat and we are so pleased she made it in so we could show her everything we have going on (and a few things in the works). Even when you love what you are doing, there are certain people in life that help bring that excitement to the surface, Julie is certainly one of those people.... Her passion for local business growth is the reason she bought #bdmag in the first place and the results are limitless. We are certainly looking forward to plenty of collaboration in the future.
