25.01.2022 Coach Luke hired me as an arm rest while he's coaching @luke_noble_ehc

25.01.2022 @braydanfender speaks a lot. Like, A LOT. My favourite quote from him this year so far would have to be: 'Never lose your hops.' - Braydan Fender Simple and weirdly profound? The way it's said makes me laugh but it also makes me think. He's honestly making a really valid statement. The context in which is was said was from the daily CrossFit class performing a box jump for max height.... The ability to hop or jump. 2 legs or 1 leg. For distance or for height. Onto objects or over objects. It takes power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. It can even take endurance, stamina and flexibility depending on the task. It's functional and extremely athletic as the ability to jump is required in most sports. However, it is not so much required in daily life. Neither is a 100kg bench press, but the more all round, athletically developed you are, the more capable you are of performing any task thrown at you that is unknown or unknowable. Jumping/hopping is apart of being an all round fit and healthy individual.

22.01.2022 This is @krunchie_grin . Her commitment to the process is outstanding. She doesn't question or complain, she just does the work. The video on the left is her very first ring muscle-up in the CrossFit Open late last year. The video on the right is from her program last night. We have been working on assisted muscle-ups to build consistency and confidence. This was the first time I let her do them unassisted and she nailed it. 3 with my assistance and 5 casual reps on her own.... Also, we reduced her kip swings down to 2 from 5 (5 is way too many). Shoot me a message if you're interested in my online programming!

10.01.2022 Here's something I haven't done in a while; a slow muscle-up. I'd like to make the transition cleaner and more upright, but hey, it's something to work on I guess.

09.01.2022 The 7pm crew represent. 19th of December.

06.01.2022 HOL...LOW Whaaat iss it good for? Absolutely everything.... A hollow hold is a good representation of your core strength. There are many ways to test your core, but a hollow hold is fundamental and exists in loads of gymnastic movements. So I'd rate it pretty high. Your ability to express power through gymnastic movements starts here... in a hollow. This video gives you an example of how different movement patterns begin with a hollow position.

06.01.2022 Here are my top 3 highlights for this week! They all happen to be lifting... because that's kind of all I did . But it's good to look back and reflect. There is always good. #3 Front squat 137.5kg. It wasn't anything significant, but it helped with confidence in my leg strength.... #2 Push press 100kg. 1kg less than my actual PB but it felt really damn good. #1 Push jerk 120kg. This is an equal PB. I hate this movement and suck at it. To put 120kg overhead with this movement is a mighty fine day.

03.01.2022 Simple solutions [Kipping pull-up] In this video I discuss a simple yet very common problem in the Kipping/butterfly pull-up and how you can fix it! Tag a mate to help them out

01.01.2022 When I can't decide if I want to lift or do gymnastics. Why not both . This was 25kg.
