22.01.2022 We're selling this 1991 bodied Mercedes-Benz OH1625 which would make the most perfect motorhome base for the following reason: - This was a rare specification w...hen built. With 61-seats it has the maximum floor space in a full size bus, plus features underfloor luggage bins and is fully air-conditioned. Most buses max out at 57-seats, however this has an extra row as it has unimpeded floor space to the back wall, a narrow entry and no wheel arches or engine humps in the way. - The Mercedes OH1625 is a 16-tonne heavy duty chassis on air-bag suspension. The motor is the OM442 naturally aspirated V8 diesel motor. It develops 250HP but more importantly develops maximum torque at 800rpm. You will not find another bus with the low end torque this engine can produce which makes it perfect if you intend to tow a car or car trailer. This is a full mechanical motor without electronic control. It was only recently rebuilt out of chassis and has done minimal kilometres. As a manual with no turbo or intercooler, it is a simple, strong and reliable vehicle. - It is very easy to drive with power steering, air brakes, an exhaust brake and a full synchromesh manual 6-speed gearbox. For a motorhome a manual transmission is essential for reliability and fuel economy. - This vehicle features a full size Denso roof top air-conditioner. It has been sitting since COVID so there is a high chance that is has lost some AC gas and may need a service when it is ready for the road. In addition it has a suspension driver's seat and a TV at the front. - Body wise, the vehicle presents very well without any body damage. The vehicle was re-skinned several years ago and as such has very little corrosion. Every vehicle of this age will have some corrosion, however this has far far less than comparable vehicles. The underfloor luggage bins have three doors on each size, and goes straight through however a chassis rail is in the way. A fully space framed vehicle would be more ideal but would be hard to find at this price range. - Dimensions are: Total length 12200mm. Interior length from back seat to the front modesty panel is roughly 11000mm. Ceiling height is 1870mm, and width from wall to wall is 2340mm. - The best news is we bought this vehicle with all intention to run it in service. As an all over white vehicle it was going to do our private weekend drunk work without our name all over the side and be a spare for our school charters during the week. As such we re-trimmed any damaged seat base and spent time ensuring its reliability. This included rebuilding the air compressor, rebuilding the front axle brakes and repairing all the gearshift linkages as well as a full service. It has done zero kilometres since. We were going to play with the mufflers to get an unreal V8 note but never got around to it. You could buy a vehicle a company knew was being retired so stopped spending money on it, or a failed motorhome project that has been sitting on a paddock, however this vehicle is completely different. - We are selling this vehicle as we have purchased a newer 61-seater school bus which will be registered post COVID. We are an accredited bus operator and are not in the business of selling buses. This vehicle is priced to sell realistically at $11,990.00 to the right buyer. It is not a $5000 bus and we'll part it out before giving it away. It is currently stored in our farm however viewing is possible with appointment at our Dural depot - we'll just have to bring it up there. 14.01.2022 Occasionally we do some work outside the square and help out the locals in our beautiful part of the country! This customer had a window break on his caravan and unfortunately couldn’t purchase a new one from the manufacturer, so with a recommendation from our local glass supplier he gave us a call and we were more than happy to help! We supplied a template and got a new piece cut then installed it! We also added some aluminium framing around the windows to prevent any more breakages!

13.01.2022 We can offer supply and fitting of pre existing school bus lights to conform to the new ADR 150 regulations at no extra cost to the operator! That’s right we can supply and retro fit the new led flashers and signage to any school bus at the same cost that the government is subsidising for the change over so that means the operator pays nothing! Give us a call or message us for more information!

09.01.2022 Just arrived! Message us for a price!

01.01.2022 Hi all! Well it’s been a bit of a roller coaster for us here at Coachcare since the beginning of covid! From March to July things slowed down a bit but we were still looking in good shape with our work load steady. Then Victoria went into stage 4 lockdown which seemed to create more panic then before and our work has slowed down to being almost none existent except for a few small local jobs trickling through and thanks to Alan Ng at Glenorie Coaches we are still chipping away at the refurb of his Austral decker! At this stage all we can hope is that our lives can return to some sort of normality soon and our economy can start to recover! Here are some pics of a small repair we did for one of our most loyal customers and some progress shots of the Austral decker! Cheers
