Last night Annelise pressed 6 x 27.5kg and then had a go at 30kg for 4 reps which was a PB. Having followed the advice and trusted it, Amber has not just improved all aspects of her training and journey, she is absolutely SMASHING IT!!! In this pic, the first image is back at the end of the big lockdown when we could train in th...e car park. Here she is squatting 30kg and struggling with depth due to tightness and not activating her glutes enough due to not using heel drive. Over the last few months she has worked her butt off and in the second pic she is squatting 75kg comfortably!! 21.01.2022 Check out this PROGRESS Chloe is an absolute bloody machine In yesterday's upper body session we moved down to sets of 2 for maximal effort of bench press. She punched out a PB at 55kg and then felt very good so we moved forward to 60kg and smoked the first rep! Second rep was assisted but we are putting down 60kg as her 1RM. Absolutely awesome effort!!... Supper impressed with Chloe's dedication in not only her training but her improvement in nutrition and fueling her body correctly! 15.01.2022 Box Squats Chloe has just entered her 3rd week of training with me at @storming.fitness . Monday we went through our 2nd last session on box squats before we move the bench away and move into regular back squats. Her technique is on point . ... Today's session fair to say was massive, including (post squats) walking lunges, goblet squats, step-ups, the sled and her favourite the echo bike (airodine) . Each week Chloe has increased her weights and is tracking amazingly. 15.01.2022 Shout out to this legend!! So I shared this on my story yesterday, but I had to share it with a dedicated post!! @annelisemirra has been following our back rehab guidelines and ticking every box. Previously deadlifts and squats were causing her low back pain at just the bar! Her previous deadlift wasn't surpassing 30kg.... Having really stuck to the plan and trusting the process Annelise has absolutely smashed her last month and a bit of training. In this video she is deadlifitng 55kg for 3 reps which is just above body weight!!! Such an amazing progression, transformation and rehab result!! KEY POINT You're lower back shouldn't hurt during deadlifts. In fact, in general ALWAYS QUESTION PAIN! There is muscle fatigue and pain, and then there is actual pain. Don't be afraid of lifting specially deadlifts, but follow the correct guidelines of warm-up, mobility and activation all this paired up with great technique!! #coachdeantedford #strengthandconditioning #rehab #backrehab #deadlifts #strong #chickswholift #strongaf #goals #gym #fitness #pt #exercise

08.01.2022 FLASHBACK To say I am missing being in my gym training my bloody legend clients is a massive understatement!!! Just to get back in and throw some weights around with everyone again will be amazing!! Here is an absolute superstar @rissriss83... On one of our deadlift afternoons when life was simpler . Huge effort sets of 4 at 100kg, 120kg and finally 125kg. Can't wait to see Riss deadlift some big numbers post Rona. *Original post below Hard work and persistence! What better way to spend a friday arvo than doing deadlifts @rissriss83 in this video is doing her final warm up set at 80kg for 6 reps. The rest of the session was sets of 4 @ 100kg 120kg and 125kg. All sets were really smooth and technique on point. Really good form too, lost the core a little on the last rep but still driving in a nice and solid direction! Emma is coming back with some rehab with a foot injury, so her improvement and strength increase has been VERY impressive. She is 10kg from her max ever so with two weeks to go before strength testing I think she will push out a new 1RM comfortably ...
