19.01.2022 Most of the Season A 2018 Granite Bikini/Swimsuit/Sports/Fitness Team. This was taken at the ICN Brisbane Classic, where Jess (aka The Dipp) won the Bikini Overall Title - the third year in a row for Team Granite. ... It was a fantastic comeback story for her. The previous year (when Becylu won the same show) The Dipp couldnt even get into a callout, let alone place, let alone win, let alone win the overall title. She competed against Team Granite competitors in 2017, but when I looked at my own photos I had NONE of her. She was pushed to the margins of the stage in the dark, while I was paying attention to my clients who the judges had moved to the centre of the stage. #awkward From the dark corners of the stage in 2017, to atop the Overall Podium in 2018. I love that shit! What a legend. Having achieved the same result (no placing before Granite, followed by championships WITH Granite) several times now...it makes one wonder how many other potential champions are at the back of the stage, wasting their effort instead of doing things properly. Also: Kat won Miss Runway at that same show, Kiara had won Miss Bikini Tropix a few weeks prior, while Simone was about to win NBA Oceania AND Ms Fitness Australia later in the season and collect her first pro card. Meanwhile my male clients that season maintained the historic Granite success rates, ie slightly BETTER than with my female clients. 3/4 of them won an Overall Title (or multiple titles) that season. The remainder came 2nd in 2018, but won in 2019 and turned pro then. #thegraniteeffect

13.01.2022 The 2016 Season A Miss Athletica Swimsuit Overall Posedown. Team Granite won all the divisions with three Granite Girls: Becylu, Big Caitlin & Shae Shae. Big Caitlin took this title out, as well as wins and placings in sports model and fitness model. That was after years of wasted effort paying fake coaches for their advice and not being able to even place on the big stage. A very hard worker following very stupid advice wont get an excellent result, no matter how muc...h they deserve it. In 2016 Team Granite won every ICN (INBA) Swimsuit Overall Title and every Swimsuit Open category in every show in QLD; with at least five DIFFERENT winners/champions (Becylu, Big Caitlin, Mel Green, Gaudo and Beeny). Oh, AND we won Miss Swimsuit Australia. #thegraniteeffect

Kaylee won BOTH Swimsuit Titles and BOTH Bikini Titles. Nani won a Fitness Title (But didnt enter the other one...hindsight eh?...) And Simone won BOTH Sportsmodel Overall Titles...on her first day as a Sportsmodel. All three would go on to win more titles that season, including ANB QLD on the Gold Coast, NBA Oceania in Logan and ICN Miss Fitness Universe in Italy, earning each a pro card from three different federations. Randy would go on to win ANB Mens Fitness Overall, also turning pro, and Liv won Miss Swimsuit Brisbane. The likes of Anna would win 8 x 1sts and 2 x 2nds out of 10 swimsuit and bikini divisions split over the whole season, ONLY placing second to overall champions...from Granite. She also won a posing award that was not scheduled to be handed out - the judges were just moved to give her special recognition for her stage presence. That sort of thing happens when you hire Granite and not a posing coach. And of course heres so many more stories, from a largish team that ALL ended up on the podium, all season long. 08.01.2022 The Sensational Slinky: Season A 2015. Despite looking like THIS, she barely scraped into the top five? ... I was so annoyed I said right! Youre doing IFBB in a few weeks! where she immediately came a close 2nd, pushing for the win! That was more like it... The following year, she narrowly missed out on winning open fitness (after gaining the necessary size to her legs and glutes to match the delts, lats and abs). At Tropix 2016, she came second in fitness short class...to the tallest competitor in the show. Somehow the figure tall winner became the fitness short winner. Slinky is one of a handful of amazing but unlucky Granite competitors who always looked absolutely phenomenal, even better than her (admittedly high) placings would suggest. #thegraniteeffect

I was told it was just luck. 5 years later = Team Granite 1st, 2nd & 3rd in Season B 2019. The field was 11 strong in this division, so the odds were only 165:1 of getting all three out of three clients in the top three spots. Im told its still just luck. 165 times more lucky than random chance? I mean its not FOUR THOUSAND TO ONE odds like the old days, but its still not a bad achievement. It must be the supplements...or the secret posing coach...or it must be the relationship between the judges and the competitors...or perhaps they all paid the promoter for posing instruction #thegraniteeffect
