I’ve been driven by OUTCOMES myself To shift gears into PROCESS takes real, conscious work and effort Time and time again I’d get caught up in the details of WHAT IF I don’t make it All the while missing the important details along the way TO make it? Make sense? Whether you want better health... a greater business which serves you at a higher level or more meaningful relationships which are deeeeeep It’s about focusing on the little steps and processes... repeated often, to get there NOT the destination! Focusing on the OUTCOME brings overwhelm And worse yet... WHAT IF once you reach that outcome, it isn’t enough? Shit, just my crazy thoughts but sit with this concept for a minute... 19.01.2022 || Avoidance Doesn’t Make Things Better || This ones for all you men... It seems busy men are great at showing up for work, whether they work for someone or are self employed ... More often than not, at the expense of showing up for themselves Or the people closest to them Hey I’m Lee and I help driven men thrive in business, become amazing husbands and incredible role models to their kids Avoiding the stuff you know you probably should be doing, doesn’t make the problem go away I think it’s safe to say... If you had a problem at work... or in your own business which threatened your cashflow You’d be all over that, right? So Why do busy men avoid showing themselves the same due diligence? Men who avoid showing up for themselves... Often aren’t showing up in their business or in their relationships I know this! I speak to men every day who fit this description... fuck, I’ve been there myself! Avoiding the problem doesn’t make it go away... Avoidance is a communication style under pressure... if you don’t know you’re doing it How do you expect to be able to fix it! Communication is one of the tenets to what I teach. Effective communication allows you to get a lot more out of your relationships And yourself! So If you keep avoiding having a difficult conversation... you’ll continue feeling stuck You’ll continue wondering ‘how the fuck can I get past this’ Or You can pick up the phone... or reach out. That’s actually the hardest step by the way! I know... because I’ve been a serial ‘avoider’ of asking for help myself Next time you feel like avoiding something... a conversation, a particular situation Ask yourself why that is? What’s really triggering that feeling for you? For me it’s a rhetorical question cos I already know the answer Do you?

Do you base your actions, thoughts and emotions around other people's perceptions? Think about that for a moment... Are you always thinking about what others think? What they might say? Why? On the other side of the coin... Do you shift your thoughts and emotions onto other people's actions? To break this down it looks like this... 'That person made me feel this way' Have you ever said that to yourself? They didn't make you No one made you YOU made you feel the way you did, The way you do. It's as simple as this guy's, if you're holding yourself for emotional ransom you'll never really be happy with what just is. For every stimulus, there's a reaction... But in between is a space where you can choose. You choose how you react. And when you feel yourself wanting to react, by yelling, or by saying something shitty. .. Take action! Choose not to act on those emotions because you have the power to do that. Remember this is always a two way street, don't let other people do this to you. They're also responsible for their own thoughts, emotions and actions. Don't allow people to pass their shit on to you. Thoughts? Let's discuss...

That makes people really uncomfortable The problem is, if you’re more attached to the past... more ‘in love’ with the past You’ll have little energy for imagining a vision of your future Dream big. Put a plan in place... go make that shit happen!
