20.01.2022 ATTENTION 6WC Good Evening Challengers! This is it, Week 6! You made it... well done! Now, this doesn't mean you go cold turkey (Christmas pun intended) as soon as the challenge finishes! ... Yes you should enjoy Christmas and New Year ... AND you should keep up your exercise routine and good habits you have been working on for the last 6 Weeks! With that in mind, lets talk focus for this week Tally up how many Coaching Zone sessions you have done over the past 6 weeks. If you have reached 18 in total, we will put your name into the entry box to be in the draw for $5000! Cairns MEP Challenge is on until the last day Get into your zone and have some fun with your team... every MEP counts! Book your consult so we can help you set up your plan to keep you on track. Book into a Baseline session so we can see how far you have come in 6 weeks! Don't worry if you didn't make it in Week 1, we still want you to jump in this week! 16.01.2022 WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER Just in case you missed it, we presented the very lovely Joy with a $5000 cheque today! She is the 4th 6WC National Winner from Cairns! ... Joy just happened to bring her sons along today to train, they got to share in her surprise! Well done Joy and Merry Christmas! Can’t wait to do it all again in 2021!

16.01.2022 Congratulations 6WC members! Team Cairns took home first place in the State V State sessions It was a tough 4 weeks but we did it and we are super proud of you all! We aren't done yet... there has been a sneaky little MEPS challenge going on in the background. It's just between the Cairns clubs and the winning club will take home our Regional Trophy! ... The leader board is pretty exciting! 14.01.2022 ATTENTION CHALLENGERS Each day this week we are releasing a demo video and instructions for an exercise you will do in the 6WC Baseline workout! This session will be run in Week 1 & again in Week 6 to test your fitness and track improvements!... Exercise 6 KB Deadlift Scoring is weight lifted x reps counted. E.G 10 reps x 2 x 12KG Kettle bells = 240 (as in the video) NOTE - count the amount of reps you completed. You will have a scorecard in your session to help you keep count! Please watch video for demonstration. Your coaches will make sure there is an option for everyone, regardless of injuries and ability! Enjoy and see you in the zone!

10.01.2022 Here is Dani !! In the zone we are always working towards new personal best, the great part is we get to do it with friends and supportive coaches along the way. Dani managed to tick all 3 of her goals for challenge off the board. Weight loss Water intake (we all take that for granted) Upper body strength (improved on fitness testing and feeling stronger) ... Great work we are all super proud of how hard you worked, and the hard work has paid off.. Happy New Years

09.01.2022 Happy Friyay!!! Team Southside smashing out the last State vs State session for the week - 8 members hitting above 200 MEPs!!! Trish hitting 211 to top the session!! Outstanding effort from these weapons ... Coach Jordan cracking the whip to get the average MEPs for the session to 188!!

Exercise 5 DB Floor Press Scoring is weight x reps E.G 2 x 5KG DUMBELLS = 10KG 10KG x 10 reps = 100KG NOTE - your goals is to complete as many reps as you can, safely, at your chosen weight! Your coaches will make sure there is an option for everyone, regardless of injuries and ability! Enjoy and see you in the zone!

03.01.2022 The last 6 Week Challenge of the year and the team at Redlynch are all smiles! Goals were set and achieved We learned that our health and fitness is more than just a sweaty workout... We won the National MEPs challenge with the rest of Cairns We are ready for more! This is a snap shot of the amount of fun we had in club. Great work, team!
