I had a really insightful conversation with one of my clients today and her perspective on what beauty looks like to her has changed dramatically ever since she started weight training admiring models from magazines wanting that slender, sexy look she now aims to not only want to look sexy but also look and feel strong. Well guess what ladies, you can definitely have both! It was amazing to hear that she is strong not only in the gym but in everyday lif...e, she can now squat her youngest daughter haha As we enter the end half of the year reflect on what it is you trully want, every phase of your journey will require a different version of yourself. Pay close attention to this! Reflect monthly Ask yourself these questions: 1) What have been my small wins for this month? 2) What would my ideal body look and feel like? Why? 3) What actions do I have to take to get closer to my vision and outcome? 4) Why is it important to me? 5) If I already had the results I desired how would I act? Who is the person I need to be? (Write this in present tense) For example: I am the person who organises all of my training sessions every week and sticks to it. I am a person that lives life with integrity etc. I never thought I would be able to do pull ups to start with, they required so much of my strength and I remember feeling so weak. I have so many different versions of myself and everytime I reflect on my journey although we may never feel that we have progressed so much, you will be surprised. It is remarkable for me to see how far I have come. Man, has it been an amazing one.
