23.01.2022 You now can order a full gym on our site. https://loadedlifting.com.au/collections/equipment We are all in this together. In the last few weeks, we’ve realise...d how important lifting things is, to just getting through the week. So, we rented a new warehouse. We took huge risks. We spent days (and days and days) arguing to get stock. We have a container on the way. Loaded proudly presents our equipment list (link in bio - full list on site). We didn’t go to the bottom end, we found the best equipment we could. We ordered enough that our stock is actually going to show up. We bought equipment we would actually lift with and keep for many many years. This is a ‘first come first serve’ thing. We have one container of equipment coming, so we can actually track one full container of our own equipment, and have proper quality control. We’re in the together, and we can’t wait to be lifting again. https://loadedlifting.com.au/collections/equipment
22.01.2022 5 diet mistakes to avoid.
19.01.2022 Every diet has an equal & opposite diet No wonder people are confused about diets. For almost every diet out there, there is a counter-diet that promotes the ...opposite message Vegan vs. Carnivore: Vegans claim that the key to health is to only eat non-animal products, & that animal consumption is one of the driving forces of disease. The Carnivore diet promotes ONLY eating animals and claims that carbohydrates (even fiber!) are one of the main causes of obesity and disease 8 meals per Day vs. Fasting: The high-frequency feeding crowd state that eating frequently stokes metabolic rate & causes more muscle gain. The fasting crowd states that fasting increases metabolic rate, fat mobilization & is anabolic due to GH increases No Carbs After 6PM vs. Carb Backloading: The No-Carbs-At-Night crowd claims that if you consume carbs at night, you won’t expend the energy from the carbs & they’ll be stored as fat. The Carb Backloading crowd claims that if you elevate insulin while cortisol is high in the morning, it will automatically put your body in a fat-storing mode Low Carb vs. Low Fat: Low Fat people believe that dietary fat is a main driver of dyslipidemia and that dietary fat drives body fat gain. Low Carb proponents believe that carbs are the main driver of obesity because of the carbohydrate-insulin model Clean-eating vs. Flexible Dieting: With Clean Eating, you are only allowed to eat a certain list of randomly & subjectively approved clean foods. With Flexible Dieting, you fit a wide variety of foods into your diet; both highly nutritious foods and fun foods Alkaline Diet vs. Common Sense: With the Alkaline diet, you eat foods that you think will cause your body’s pH to drop. If you have common sense, you’ll understand that even a 0.1 pH drop would be lethal. If your pH drops by about 0.6, you will be dead. The take home: Diets only work if they put you in a caloric deficit. None of these diets boost metabolic rate or cause you to melt fat If you are tired of trying to weed out the legitimate from the BS let us sort it out for you. 14.01.2022 "Your diet shouldn’t have a name. - IIFYM - Vertical diet - Paleo diet - G-flux... - Carnivore diet - Anabolic diet - IF ...To name a few of the popular names out there that I see thrown around often. Your approach should be founded on a collection of sound principles that govern your decision-making when you structure your nutrition. Only then will you be able to actually start the customization process, and find what is better for you." this PSA (and these veins) brought to you by @nunez3dmj #naturalbodybuilding #3dmj #team3dmj #3dmusclejourney See more

08.01.2022 Most Australians are currently nervous about the potential impact of COVID-19, and we wanted to take the opportunity to remind everyone that we should still consider physical activity for two key reasons. Firstly, research does show that exercise can support our immune system and secondly, exercise is proven to support our mental health, explains Anita Hobson-Powell, Chief Executive Officer of ESSA.

06.01.2022 I am not big on supplements. I think they are way down on the priority list, most people put a huge emphasis on them Areas higher up in importance are nutrition, sleep and stress management. One that I do take and recommend is creatine. It is probably the most studied supp of all time and has numerous benefits. Especially important if on a vegetarian diet. 1tsp or 5g once a day with water #supplements #perthfitfam #creatine #bodybuilding #fitness #ellenbrookfitnesscenter
04.01.2022 Unpopular post Y’all get caught up in shit that does not matter. You keep letting yourself get caught up on fads and buzzwords. There was a study b...y Alhassan S et al. from 2014 that examined various difference diets like high carb, low carb, keto, zone, etc and their effects on fat loss. Guess what they found? Results with basically the same between the diets, no diet was associated with greater success than the others, and adherence was pretty terrible on all of them. Guess what was HIGHLY associated with success? ADHERENCE! Regardless of the type of diet people followed, those who adhered to the diets got results. WOW IM FUCKING SHOCKED...NOT! I’ve only been saying this for over a decade. The best diet is the one you can stick to for the LONG TERM! You want to do low carb? Cool, better be able to sustain it. Alternate day fasting? Hope you can do that indefinitely. Low fat? Great, just make sure you can keep it up. This is a concept we discuss in DEPTH in my book Fat Loss Forever (link below) Y’all also get caught up with buzzwords: What about insulin? . Studies have consistently shown when calories are equated, differences in insulin secretion don’t mean shit for fat loss. What about autophagy (fasting zealots)? First off, 99% of you have no idea what autophagy actually is (FYI it’s not always a good thing) and you know what reliably increases autophagy? CALORIE FREAKING DEFICIT But what about my gut microbiome??? Even experts don’t know how to modulate the gut microbiome for optimal weight loss, I promise you some fitfluencer didn’t discover the secret while living in mommy’s basement. . Eat enough fiber seems to be the best way we know of as of now to optimize the gut based on our conversations with gut microbiome expert Suzanne Devkota What about inflammation? Too little inflammation is actually bad. As far as diets effects on inflammation, there is almost no evidence to show one diet is more or less inflammatory than the others when calories are equated. Weight loss in general decreases inflammation and weight gain (fat) increases inflammation. Thanks Dr. Spencer Nadolsky for the meme https://biolaynestore.com/collections/accessories
