13.01.2022 Autumn is here now and the weather is getting cooler. We are slowly moving towards winter in Australia. Winter brings its own challenges. One of them is people getting sick due to Flu. Because of the current Coronavirus situation, there is so much confusion around what will happen to us during winter when the Flu infections are on rise.... Flu is caused by a virus called Influenza. To combat Flu infection, people are normally advised to the take Flu vaccine (also called as Flu shot). Please be aware that taking a Flu shot will ONLY protect you against the Influenza virus. Flu shot will NOT protect you from getting infected or ease the symptoms by Coronavirus as per the current research data! There is no cure found for Coronavirus yet. Both Coronavirus and Influenza virus causes respiratory symptoms. When it comes to Influenza - children, elderly, pregnant women and those with compromised immune systems and have other medical conditions are at high risk. For Coronavirus, current research data suggests that normally elderly people and those with underlying medical conditions are at high risk. Either way, it is important to keep our immune system intact to fight these viruses during winter season. Stress is a major contributor to break our immune system, so it's important to keep our stress under control. Breathing exercises are good for strengthening our lungs and fight respiratory issues. Make sure eating healthy foods and avoiding junk as high priority. #covid19 #flu #immunesystem #vaccine

03.01.2022 Is working from home making you eat too much food than needed? Clearing up your refrigerator and food pantry during social isolation is not unusual. It is easy for us to get into the habit of comfort eating unless we have a very strong mind and will-power. Here are the tips to address this issue:... 1. Replace the junk food stored in your refrigerator and pantry with healthy food. 2. Try to keep your workplace bit far away from your kitchen! 3. Use an alarm or timer and set it up to eat food only two times during work hours. 4. Stress can trigger your emotional eating, so take a few deep breaths when you feel stressed during work hours. 5. Glucose is the main source of fuel for the brain, so make sure you eat enough carbohydrates during the day. #workfromhome #remoteworker #health #covid19

02.01.2022 How we perceive things will be the deciding factor on winning with flying colors during this pandemic. If you have a negative thought, try to replace it with a positive one immediately before it turns into a spiral of thoughts. Thoughts can give very good clues on our Mind's makeup. An opportunity for further exploration and growth!... #covid19 #mindset

02.01.2022 Do you agree?!

01.01.2022 Leaders need to be careful not to instill fear in the minds of common people. Fear and Fear Of Missing Out is the underlying reason behind zombie-like behavior from the people on the Coronavirus issue. Media has a big responsibility not to blow things out of proportion for creating sensational news. ... My recommendation - before giving an interview make sure the information is correct, put yourself into the shoes of a common man and think how he/she would react listening to you. Education is the key. #covid-19 #coronavirus #leadership #drsathiyaramakrishnan
