The resilience to believe in myself , take risks and trust the process.... Like anything in life it wasn't always easy but I chose to focus on things I could change or control and not put negative energy into the things I couldn’t. 15.01.2022 How To Reach Your 2021 Goals Wow, can you believe that the year is almost over? This means that it’s the time of year when people start thinking about their 2021 goals. ... It’s only normal, a new year offers the possibility for a new you, right? However, only about 8% of people actually achieve their resolutions each year. And, only 75% of those who set goals follow through with them after the first week of the year. It’s crazy that 25% of people stopped working towards their goals after just the first week! So today, I’m going to help you find ways stick to your 2021 goals and become successful with them in the new year. Let’s make YOUR 2021 goal list a REALITY! And, before you throw out the idea of goal setting and New Year’s resolutions, or judge people who are doing so, please keep this in mind: People who explicitly make Goals are 10 times more likely to attain their goals than people who don’t explicitly make them at all! This is why I believe that setting goals and making a plan to reach them is so important. Here are some tips for developing your new goals for 2021: 1. Be specific and measurable for each one. That means, include amounts and dates, such as, I’ll be fitter and healthier for myself and my family by June 30th 2021, or I’ll lose 15 kilos by July 1, 2021. 2. Identify what I call a breakthrough goal for 2021, which is, one that could catapult you to a new level in your health and fitness. For example, I will sign up and participate in my first Fun Run by June 30, 2021, and complete my first Half Marathon by December 30, 2021. 3. Describe how your life would change if you accomplished your breakthrough goal. What would this goal do for your overall health? What would it enable you to do, have, feel or achieve? 4. Choose 2021 goals for each area of your life: ~ health and fitness ~ relationships (all types) ~ personal development (whatever that means to you, for example, improving your own well-being, joining a new gym, taking nature walks every fortnight , or meditating every day for 10 minutes.) ~ fun and recreation ~ contribution or community goals (which might be volunteering or donating money, or in-kind services to those in need.) Developing your 2021 goals by starting with analyzing your accomplishments in 2020, will give you a new sense of your passions, priorities and strengths today. I have been struggling over the past week or so again with my own anxiety and feeling overwhelmed. ... An unforeseen change that was out of my control put me into a tailspin. So I found myself starting to spiral out of control and become very agitated... not my normal day to day responses to life. I knew I needed to reach out for help. So I did. Keeping your Mental Health in good shape is so important... leave it too long without care & attention and she can really start causing you strain & discomfort. I took myself down to Redcliffe this morning and did my 10,000 steps by the beautiful clear water. Now I feel FABULOUS... and so does INDI Head outside and increase your Serotonin levels this weekend - the sun is shining bright Look out for one another and remember: It’s OK to not be Ok T x

06.01.2022 ~ WHAT ARE YOUR DAILY RITUALS ~ Early to bed, early to rise makes you healthy, wealthy and wise Wisdom from ancient and modern times teaches us that the beginning and the end of the day is a time to think, evaluate, and correct course. Regardless of when your day begins or ends, few people have established positive rituals that allow them to thrive.... I love testing my day and night rituals to ensure they support me and refuel me to avoid burnout. They ground me, keep me focused and soothe my soul. So think about establishing your own code of conduct, your own set of small habits to start and end the day, this is your time to own. What I am doing at the moment - AM Ritual - 6am. -before rising do some breath work -before rising set my intention and attitude for the day -get up and make the bed -move my body for an hour -walk or yoga -shower, hydrate and have breakfast, supplements -write in 5 min journal PM Ritual - 9pm -legs up the wall for 10 mins in front of tv -prep bfast, write list for next day -lay clothes out for morning exercise -wash face, teeth -put on essential oil burner - lavender -write in 5 min journal -lights out 9.30-10pm -breath and gratitude practice whilst going to sleep What are your routines, your rituals, your habits that work for you? Own these times of day - the first and last hour of the day for yourself, for you to mentally check in with yourself, ground yourself, refuel yourself, motivate yourself and find gratitude for your life T x

However, the problem we face sometime when trying to include selfcare time in our calendar is that in the vast ocean of the ridiculously long list of tasks allocating one more looks more like a burden rather than a moment of enjoyment. ... . So, we end up dreaming of a getaway/holidays far far away from our daily pressures in a place where we can just lie and look at the stars. . The fact is that big events like a 2 week holiday or a one-off big workout doesn't change the game of your overall physical and emotional wellbeing. . What matters the most is the little things you practice every day a 10 min walk, a 5 min meditation just breathing consciously, a 1 min face massage when applying your face cream or sipping your morning coffee while enjoying through the window the beauty of a sunrise. .
