Transition to school begins well before a child starts school. Coalstoun Lakes State School Prep Transition Program involves a range of experiences that will help your child gain the skills and confidence they need to adjust to the school environment. Families are invited to attend our Pre Prep Transition... Days which will be held from 9.00am - 11am on: * Friday - 23rd October * Friday - 6th November and * Friday - 20th November. 11.01.2022 New student free days added to Term 4! In recognition of the outstanding efforts of school staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, the last two days of the scho...ol year, Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December, have been declared student free days. Schools will be closed on these days. For some regional, rural and remote schools that finish the school year earlier, the student free days will be Thursday 3 and Friday 4 December. 09.01.2022 Today has been a busy day at school. We celebrated World Teachers Day with our fabulous teachers (with cake and flowers) and students and staff participated in a red dress day in recognition and support of Day for Daniel.

08.01.2022 Update: We now have power and water back at the school. Everything is good to go. Thanks for your patience. There is currently no power at Coalstoun Lakes State School. This impacts our water supply. Ergon will update at 9am. We have no further information at this time but we will keep you updated when more information becomes available.

06.01.2022 A reminder that our first Pre Prep day will be held tomorrow, Friday 23 October from 9am - 11am. A parent/guardian is also required to attend for this time. Pre preps are welcome to stay and join other students for morning tea break from 11am to 11.30am. We are looking forward to having you join us

03.01.2022 Students are invited to wear red today in support of the Daniel Morcombe Foundations Day for Daniel. Day for Daniel is Australia's largest day of action to raise awareness of child safety, protection, and harm prevention.
