25.01.2022 It is getting colder now and people are on the move for holidays in warmer weather. One thing that I have been asked a lot this past week is about exercising when you are travelling and what you can do. You don't need a lot of equipment for exercising just your body and if you like some resistance bands that take up no room in your bag. Space is not an issue either, a big gym area is not required just a great location and a little bit of time. I have put together some great ...programs for exercising when travelling, working on aerobic fitness, gentle resistance training (not heavy weights) and some balancing exercises. All programs are designed to be short, no longer than a half hour, the are easy to do and great if you are travelling with someone, do them together :). Finally, they are flexible and can be tailored just for you. Come in and see us before you leave for your own individualised plan and have a great holiday......

24.01.2022 Lets not let this happen in our sport. Our Referees, be they young or old, are there to allow our CHILDREN TO PLAY this great game of ours. They ARE NOT there f...or spectators, coaches, managers, trainers and/or players to hurl abuse at because this is where things like what happened to this referee start. If you see and hear someone abusing the referee speak to a Ground Manager at the game, there's one from each team, and get them to help stop it. You can also fill out a Respect Rugby Report in such cases. The link for these is pinned to the top of our Facebook page. THE STANDARD YOU'RE PREPARED TO ACCEPT, IS THE STANDARD YOU'RE PREPARED SET If you are a person who likes to abuse a Referee then please drop your child off, let them play and pick them up when they are done. Our Referee's don't need you, our players don't need you, our spectators don't need you and our game doesn't need you.

21.01.2022 If you feel you need some guidance or aren't sure what exercise or movement is best for you. Get in touch with us, we can help you :)

19.01.2022 In rugby, as in life...

19.01.2022 Never to old to make a change... If you or a loved one would like to move more, feel better or just start something new come in and say hi. We can help you with specific and tailored movements just for you.

17.01.2022 Healthy habits start when we are young and the benefits don't just affect us when we are young but stay with us all our lives. More so if we continue to do something small every day. Try going for that little bit more today.

17.01.2022 It doesn't need to be an iron man challenge, sometimes just having a goal of walking out the front door is a marathon effort. Exercise can help, call us for an appointment today on 4972 0607 to see how we can help you get started

16.01.2022 Interesting article for the new year. We are a month in how are you going with your goals?

10.01.2022 Exercise is not about running a marathon every day. It is as simple as just moving more each day. The little bits you can do today to make tomorrow easier.

07.01.2022 So the For Fit Sake Challenge started yesterday, 100km in 10 days. Yesterday I completed 5 km and this morning another 7.6km. I am on the way to completing the goal. If anyone wants to come along for a ride, run or walk to help me knock the km off and help a charity get in touch. I'd love the company.

06.01.2022 Add to this the benefits of 30 minutes of activity a day and your risk reduces even further. Interesting the small things we can do for ourselves that are not expensive and make positive changes for our health.

04.01.2022 It's worth a read and thinking about. Exercise doesn't have to be strenuous, it's about getting up and moving. Yes, it may be uncomfortable today, maybe even tomorrow but if you keep at it something changes. It doesn't hurt anymore, it makes you feel good, it can reduce reliance on medications and improves scores of other health concerns. Make a change in your life. Drop in and see us and let us help you make that change.

04.01.2022 Want to start moving again? Not sure where to start? Have a look at these exercises for some ideas. If you don't know if they are right for you, come in and see us in Swansea, where the video shop used to be or call us on 4972 0607 for an appointment. It's time to start moving again :)

03.01.2022 In March I have set myself a challenge to move 100km in 10 days and raise some money for the House With No Steps. I'll keep you posted on my progress with this challenge, if you would like to complete a challenge yourself, or just make a change in your Physical Activity levels it would be awesome to hear about your journey. Come in and see us at the practice and share your story so we can support you too. I look forward to hearing about and sharing your journey.

01.01.2022 It is never too late to start.
