The device covers the smoke detector, artificial smoke activates and sets the detector into alarm mode and sends the Fire Indicator Panel into alarm. This tells us the detector is working. Monthly Fire Indicator Panel testing is important ongoing maintenance required to ensure the fire detection system works correctly, keeping your buildings compliant and safe with an early warning system in the event of a fire.
