14.01.2022 Woohoo - first 2020 Valley Run crew away today . Beautiful morning and the whole of lovers lane freshly paved with bitumen too ! No more muddy bus and loose gravel bends . No brainer to get up here now while the rivers running !

Great footage, but as always video never captures the height and depth of things the way they look/feel in person . I think the audio might better reflect how it was :-)

Rivers rising with local rain plus volume from York & northam earlier in the week . Going to get wet - rain bucketing down - but they will be happy vegemites by the end Id wager . Sitting here drinking an excellent capuccino at Gidge Bakery pondering why I didnt go with them ...

We are running shuttles this weekend if anyone is in need of transport to Posselts ford and Toodyay. The single best piece of advice we can offer ? Dont paddle alone !
